AC Infinity Automatic Booster Duct Fan 4" Inline Fan with Pressure Switch

It provides the added venting so that my dryer doesn't give me an error code due to insufficient venting. Increases clothes drying efficiency. It did stop working for a couple of weeks, but has been doing the job for most of the 2 years I have owned it.

Absolutely amazing product. I am a mechanical contractor for commercial application which this item is cheap, quiet, easy to install. Overall amazing in getting the moist air out of the bathroom if your vent is undersized or a long run.

Works great. Set on speed 2. Master bedroom now same temperature as the rest of the house. Room was always hotter by about 2-3 degrees during the summer. Super quiet. Fan settings remain the same if power outage occurs and then power returns. I bought the home depot ferncos. Should have gotten this a few years back. Easy installation.

I have a large house that has a very long dryer vent line. I didn't realize this until I burned out two heating elements in the dryer and then finally figured out that it was because the dryer vent line was so long. I put in this blower which turns on and off automatically and I could not be happier with it. I would recommend this to anybody that has a dryer vent line longer than 6 to 8 ft.

Three-stars because, when the fan is on, it pushes air through the ducts like it is supposed to. However, the air pressure is way to sensitive, as it will kick on constantly, even when the HVAC system is not on. I went to customer service and they gave me the runaround - if there were additional ratings for the customer service, I would give them a one-star. I'm sure it would be a 5-star product had I received a good unit that worked like it was supposed to, as I believe this one slipped by quality control. Noise level seems to be high as well, as it is in our attic crawl space and I can hear it through the ceiling/walls and that is how I know it's running when the A/C or Heat isn't running.

My LG dryer would give me D80, D90, and D95 error codes all the time. Before that, I had a Samsung dryer that burned out the heating element four or five times before I got rid of it. It turns out, even though my dryer vent run is not that long and it's almost completely straight, I just couldn't get enough airflow out of these modern, eco-friendly dryers. That's where this unit comes in. I installed it in less than 2 hours, and I've never gotten an error code again. Amazing! It turns on and off automatically, it's not very loud, and my clothes get all the way dry with no error codes. Yay!

Worked really well for a few years and then the sensor that detects pressure stopped working. Fan still works fine but can’t get a replacement part

Great idea to add one of these if ur vent is pushing out from 8ft or more. turns on when senses air flow from switching on your vent fan or dryer- then it automatically turns off to sense if theres still something runnin. If no airflow- she turns off.

Triggers reliably, relatively quiet. I'm using this as a make up air unit for my laundry room. I put the pitot tube on my dryer, while the fan is just behind a damper on an intake duct. Because of the intended use as a booster, this is programmed to shut off for a bit every five minutes to see if there is still flow with the motor off. For my use I wish there was a mode that doesn't need to shut off to sense, as the fan is on a different duct. This is still a very affordable universal make up air unit.

It works! Used to boost airflow to far end of house from a concealed duct heat pump. The automatic pressure detect works perfectly. I can even set my heat pump to 1% fan speed and the unit still detects the pressure difference and turns on! Glad i found it. Seems like a better option than the floor register boosters.

AUTO works but not when the unit is in up position. I had to tern it sideway a bit at about 45 degrees angle. In this position AUTO works well.

I bought this based on reviews, of other LG clothes dryer owners, saying it was the solution for dryer error codes if the vent pipe was too long (mine is >30 feet). Yes, now the dryer is happy, with the booster nicely pushing air, but 1) It was a pain to install as you must take it apart. In my case, the control panel is upside down after a common left to right install in a horizontal pipe in the basement ceiling below the main floor laundry room. 2) It worked perfectly for a month, starting when the dryer started, and turning off when dryer finished, like it is supposed to. Then it started sometimes turning on randomly, when the dryer was not even going. I installed a smart plug, so I can now use Alexa to turn it on when I want to use the dryer. This works so far as the booster, fortunately, holds the fan speed, and "on" setting, when its power is cut off.
