I use it to start the dust collector about two seconds after the table saw is turned on else it trips breaker and yes I used the 1amp fuse and a relay. **Q: Could this possibly work on a 24 vdc (24 volt dc current) circuit?** A: they are 18-240 volts, I have not tried them on DC though I suspect that they will work but I suggest that you might use an external relay to protect the internal relay from contact burn depending on how heavily you load them. **Q: Does this timer delay ON for the time set every time it is energized?** A: Yes, it delays ON for an adjustable period whenever it is energized; OFF is instant. **Q: Will this operate a freezer.** A: Not advisable. Too difficult to install on freezer.
