This item is a God sent, the quality is awesome. I only wish that there would be a way to re-order the silicone gaskets when they ware out. There were two extras, however they won't last for ever.

ORIGINAL REVIEWI make my own beauty products and one of my biggest issues is always to fill bottles...I tried all kinds of plastic syringes, small and large, specialized and not, but found them all very hard to work with (especially given the viscosity of my products, which are mostly lotions and serums). All took great effort to fill/dispense, were impossible to use after a while because they got stuck, were difficult to clean and not durable.This syringe changed my life! It's fills and dispenses with NO EFFORT WHATSOEVER (with one hand!), regardless of how thin/thick your material is. The true-to-volume graduated line makes it easy to see what you're dispensing at a time, up to 2 fl. oz. (60 ml), and it's very easy to clean as all pieces come apart for easy and quick hand washing.Construction seems durable (time will tell).I find that I had to clean the inside before each use during the first few uses as there was some black residue inside, but I believe it's because the syringe was still new. Boiling or sterilizing might be an option to ensure it's as clean as possible before the first use.Update (12/4/18): After about three "filling sessions", my syringe became completely impossible to pull/push. Apparently, the black residue inside the tube is some kind of lubricant. Once gone, the syringe will not work with the original o-ring as it is too thick to be used without lubricant. After much searching and trial & error, a plumbing 1-1/8" x 7/8" x 1/8" o-ring solved my problem. It's a different size than the original o-ring, but it allows the syringe to be pulled/pushed easily. On the plus side, 1-1/8" x 7/8" x 1/8" o-rings are 10 times cheaper than the original o-ring or its identical replacement.For my use (filling bottles with lotion/facial serum), this syringe is still the perfect piece of equipment. I've taken one star off the original review because of the black lubricant inside the tube, and the fact that the original o-ring only will work as long as the inside of the tube is lubricated with the original black lubricant (which I don't want in my lotions/serums, and you certainly don't want in your food!)CML

It's very nice ,I've been using it for feedings since the 13th ,about 50 times a day. .works great ..I'd like to be able to aquire some o-rings for spares. .I'm planning on ordering another one to keep on hand

After two weeks, the screw became free and the syringe was useless. Aweful product. Does not seem to be made of stainless steel

My son has used a Freka Nasogastric feeding tube for the past 14 years. After wasting so many plastic syringes I was so looking forward to going green with the Eco-tubie! Unfortunately both the catheter tip and the ENFit adapter provided do not fit the Freka tube connector at all, so the Eco-tubie is currently absolutely useless. Changing the feeding tube isn't something I'm considering since this particular tube is one that causes him the least discomfort. If anyone has a solution or alternative adapter, please let me know.Two stars because it looks well-made, and with coconut oil on the O-ring, the plunger moves OK.

What a terrific product this is. Easy to use and easy to clean, I'm happy someone designed this. They should get the Nobel Peace Prize, or something equivalent! After using those terrible plastic ones that are completely useless after a few days this Enteral Tube is a wonder. I am the caregiver for my husband who has ALS. I am grateful to this company for making my life easier and simpler. I thank you so very much.

Built very well, heavy and thick stainless steel. It can pay for itself in under a year but brand new and it’s very stiff. I have cleaned and lubricated 3 times and it is very stiff. In shape male for reference. I wonder how long the ring will last.

I was having such a problem with the plastic syringes while feeding my little cleft soft palate puppy, that I was hurting my hands. They seem to work okay on the first time and after that they would become so difficult to plunge. I used my chin to push and that seemed to work..for a while. I have a nice bruise on my chin and two slices on my thumb from the nasty plastic syringes.I looked for an alternative and found a GREAT syringe on AMAZON. I am using it so easily now. When it first came, I needed to clean it throughly on the inside for residue of the stainless steel. I use liquid coconut oil on the inside of the tube and on the o-ring. Lightly dab coconut oil on a paper towel and swab the inside of the tube and o-ring. If you invest in this syringe, you will not be sorry. Thank you AMAZON for offering the ECO-TUBIE..
