I bought these bags to tidy-up my cupboards and to create more space. This is the first time I bought this make of Vacuum bags, the previous lot I bought had a rod cut in half to effect the sealing. They worked well but the protruding rod on the sealed end of the bag made stacking awkward.I read the reviews of this type of bag and noticed that some folk had problems with unique dual seals. Dismissing that comment I placed an order for this combo set of bags as it would give me enough bags for what I had in mind. When opening the combo pack of DIBAG I was pleasantly surprised with the quantity and size of bags in the Combo Pack. That exceeded my expectations.Now, when starting to use the bags I could see why some folk who are not used to the Zip-locks have a problem. Having used Zip-lock bags for freezing I am used to dealing with it. Once the bag is filled with the contents - towel sets and bedding sets in my case - I found it best to run the slide a couple of times backwards and forwards, or is that up and down? - along the length of the dual zip-lock to ensure the zip-locks are engaged along the whole reach of the zip. Only after I satisfied myself that every bit of the dual-zip-lock have snapped into place did I start the vacuum cleaner to suck out the air. It worked like a charm!The bags are made from thick plastic, strong enough to be puncture resistant, yet, soft enough for the sealed end to to be not intrusive and hindering stacking in the cupboards.

The bags arrived in a timely manner and they were well packed. The bags themselves are of excellent quality for storage being strong and of various sizes to suit most needs and cannot fault them and for that I give them 5*. For space saving the bags appear to slightly weep and so do not keep their reduced size. Not sure whether it’s the valve of the seal. The seal is not the best and requires several strong passes of the chaser to get a decent seal due to the creasing of the heavy duty plastic, but it does seal eventually. These creases may well be the cause of the seal weeping. Therefore due to the problems I give the space saver element only 3*. The set comes with a handy evacuation pump so that you do not have to worry about taking a vacuum with you. The pump does work but a lot of effort required for the bigger bags but still useful and for this I give it 4*. I have purchased different packs of these and mainly for the strong storage capability for which they are great. I would purchase again but for storage rather than space saving.Average score 4*

I was amazed at how small a whole wardrobe of clothes could be, and my chair cushions compressed down to barely an inch deep. Wonderful! With everything going into storage these were a must for making sure stuff stays clean and dry. One suggestion to anyone using these, if you want things to remain un-crumpled then get some hardboard to put in the bags as backing because they can scrunch right up if you suck a lot of air out. I used a small Dirt Devil 2kw vacuum cleaner to suck the air out and it did an amazing job.Pillows and duvets compress down very well indeed. I stored coats, jeans, soft toys, underwear, Ikea chair cushions, jumpers, winter clothes including gloves, scarves, hats etc. There are a few bags included (3 I think) that are non compressible but that still have zips and I used these for shoes and bathroom stuff. Couldn't have done my move and storage so easily without them.The "valve" for the hoover to suck the air out through is smaller on these DIBAG bags, so even fairly small nozzle vacuum cleaners fit. This is definitely a good thing as other bags I used had larger "valves" and my vacuum nozzle didn't fit very well at-all on these other bags.Tip: The "zip" clip on the bag needs to be pushed on a bit more so that it runs over both seals. It clicks fully on very easily with a little push.

OK. Two double duvets in one of the jumbo bags and five winter coats (including a Puffa) in one of the XL bags. I have to say, I'm really impressed.The hole where you suck the air out (being really technical, there) has a device on the back that stops the contents being sucked into the hole so it's better at drawing more air out. There's a non-return valve so there's no rushing to get the hole plugged before the bag starts filling with air again.I've had a few makes of vacuum storage bags and these are so much better.Highly recommended.

Have now used all bags as initially didn't need to use the extremely large bags. I would not recommend these if you intend to save space as the vacuum 'seal' on most does not hold for longer than a few hours and so they plump back to normal size. I've followed instructions and after many attempts I've now just decided to use these as storage and not space saving bags. They are robust enough to protect out of season clothes from dirt and dust in storage but not as a space saver! I've now used the very largest bag to put all of the other filled storage bags into.

these bags are great ,they do just as you would expect, I loaded mine up with clothes, coats,bedding , pillows and cuddly toys a few weeks ago, I followed the instructions fully and ensured that both of the ziplock type sealing strips were fully closed then removed the air and closed the cap on the valve so far I have not noticed any leakage of air into the bags and I now have a spare room back that was previously stacked with all that I have managed to get into the bags,,,,great product , great service by fast delivery .I would buy them again if I needed any more....

I haven’t used these as yet apart from a test with a cushion ! Worked very well, and I think these will be very useful to store my winter clothes. The only complaint I do have is to do with the fastening. When I used it I immediately slid the plastic fastener completely off. It did go back on but I couldn’t get the opening to shut properly. However not a major problem as it’s quite easy to close by squeezing. All in all very pleased.
