Is it glazed or rough and so might scratch the plate it's stacked on?** A: There is glaze on the bottom of the dishes and ours (after six weeks) have held up very well. There is a "ring" of ceramic on the bottom, but it appears to have a lighter coating of glaze and our dishes show no sign of scratches or marks of any kind. I took a few pictures to help everyone see, but I can't see the route to upload them, only videos. **Q: Are these pieces completely round or oblong?** A: The dishes, as stated, are artisan in style. They are circular, but imperfect in shape. In other words, if a person were to draw a circle freehand, roughly 8 or10 inches in diameter, that's roughly what the plates look like.
