Q: Unless you mean heater is 1200 watts and the 3 settings are only fan speeds and not heat setting

I have a solar inverter in my truck with a tested very accurate wattage meter. Low runs about 380 wats, medium around 700 watts and high around 1100 watts. These numbers fluctuate higher as the coils heat, but my 1500 watt inverter never goes into surge mode which is anything above 1500. So the rating is fairly accurate and the settings obviously regulate the heat as well as the fan, because that would be the only explanation for such a wide wattage variance between settings.

It is a rechargeable unit. Depending on the speed in which you run it it can last up to 6 hours. Unit includes a USB cord for charging

No, It works 2-3 hours. Then you can turn it off.
