A Fathers Song is the third CD single release from New Traditions following the very successful A Song For My Son - the first song in history written for the mother and groom dance at a wedding. A Fathers Song was written in response to the many requests from fathers who wanted another song for the groom - but from the fathers point of view. A Fathers Song can be played at a wedding reception after or instead of a formal toast, but it also makes a great musical gift from father to son on other occasions too, including birthdays, graduations, bar mitzvahs, etc.. The CD single contains both a vocal and an instrumental version of the song. The vocalist is Ray Allaire who also sings the very popular New Traditions song A Song For My Daughter.

Very sobby.
I purchased this CD because my MIL insisted on having a song for the father of the groom (to his son). She said it brought tears to her eyes and the father would DEFINITELY appreciate something like this. I played it for my then fiance before the wedding and he said You are NOT playing this at our wedding! My father in law heard this after the wedding and said Thank God you didn't play this, how awkward! So, there you have it. Apparently it's a huge hit with the older women and guys find it awkward and uncomfortable to listen to. Make sure you have a GUY who knows the family well listen to this and consider what he says before you play this at a wedding.

A Fathers Song
This is a great CD. I was actually suprised to find that not only did the CD have the vocal with music but the second track had the music only. I am sure that it will be joy to my son at his wedding. I had very good service and response from Amazon. I highly recommend this CD to anyone.Thanks

So Proud of You My Son
This is one of the BEST wedding gifts we could have given our Son on his wedding day!!! Played it at the reception and there wasn't a dry eye in the place. It was VERY Emotional and everything that we have always wanted to say. Thank you very much for making this beautiful rendition for a most Wonderful Son!!!!!!
