Coffeeduck for Philips Senseo HD7810-12 Coffee Maker Machine

Maybe I was expecting too much from this coffee duck but I feel slightly let down. Admittedly I have only used it a few times but have found unless you pile in the grounds to the limit the coffee really isn't so strong even using good quality espresso grounds. I miss the crema layer one gets with the pods and of course the easy to use process with the disposable pods. One thing which no one has mentioned is the fact that when removing the used grounds there is still a fair amount of water in the duck which is messy and difficult to get rid of even after washing.I shall persevere until my espresso grounds are finished but the way I feel now, unless things improve, I shall be going back to the pods. I am not a huge coffee drinker so the cost of the pods isn't a big factor. Also as a regular visitor to Spain I buy their supermarket's own brand and bring a supply home with me.

I bought the wrong duck as it did not fit my Senseo Viva. I have since ordered what I think it the right one, waiting for delivery so fingers crossed.

The product really saves me a lot of money.I use my own coffee (and can change to any brands as much as I want), and both my boyfriend & I can appreciate how strong we want our coffee.Great purchase for the 7810 Senseo coffee machine!

Bought this to save some money as the pod prices have been hiked up recently. Have only just received it as so far am very pleased - I just need to experiment now with ground coffee to find which I prefer. The only fault I can note is that it doesn't make the lovely creamy foam on top but this is forgivable - just!!!
