RØDE Streamer X Professional Integrated Audio Interface and 4K Video Capture Card with XLR, HDMI and TRRS Connectivity for Streaming, Gaming and Content Creation

As a YouTube Tech reviewer myself I was very discouraged on buying the Røde Streamer X due to the poor reviews and star ratings that I'd seen on here. However I can clarify that I've had completely ZERO issues whilst using the Streamer X and even though I've also got the original RØDECaster Pro 1st edition and the RØDECaster Pro 2 along with the NearStream amix40u, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen along with a load of other Audio Interfaces (as after all I am a Yt Review) I've found that I'm using the Røde Streamer X all of the time and is my go to Audio Interface period It's simple and very straightforward to use and produces the same quality Audio standard as my RØDECaster Pro 2 I also recommend buying from this seller (Camera Centre Uk) as they are one of Rødes designated sellers which gives you 100% guarantee that you'll receive your full warranty if anything does go wrong, without any hiccups The Streamer X is pure Value for your money as it does every this that my RØDECaster Pro 2 does with the added fact that it also does not only Audio but also video 10/10 from me - you just can't go wrong, it's as simple as that

This item is being supplied to UK addresses with a standard European 2-pin mains plug. This does not comply with standard UK electrical supply configurations unless a tool-locked UK adapter is factory-sealed onto it.Why this matters (It ruins the unit):Because you are forced to run this high-end device through an unsealed travel adapter, it causes micro-voltage fluctuations and a complete lack of grounding.The Streamer X requires a pristine, stable 5V/3A power supply. The improper power draw from an external adapter eventually overloads and deadlocks the internal USB 1 audio processing motherboard. Your Mac or PC will completely stop recognizing the audio/microphone interface entirely, leaving only the basic HDMI video bridge alive. Your Statutory Rights:If you have already bought this and it has failed, do not accept a standard 30-day window limitation. I work from home with both a gaming PC and a work PC. I’ve got some nice headphones and a good mic for gaming, but I also spend a lot of time in online meetings. Being able to use the same headphones and mic for both computers has made things way easier for me—it’s a real quality-of-life upgrade. The sound quality is exactly what I’d expect from Rode—spot on. I don’t use all the features because honestly, I don’t need to, but I’ve messed around with the sound pads and even added some silly fart noises during meetings for fun. What’s also really handy is the HDMI capture. I’m into retro computers like Amigas, and being able to switch inputs without unplugging monitors is super convenient. I didn’t even think about that before buying it, but it’s definitely a bonus.

The RØDE X Streamer is a great attempt for their first product that integrates video and audio switching, however it is this integration that fails. It works most of the time, however over a long day it starts to freeze and cause not only audio issues but video issues too. In addition the video is not true 4K from the device. It causes many frames to drop and I am using the top of the line MacBook Pro M1 Max with 64GB RAM and 8TB disk. So there is no excuse on my system end. However looking at the logs I can see it drops many frames and with audio it does have issues with certain instruments and sometimes voice. Sad really because I was looking forward to a perfect product. Now for the casual YouTuber who makes short videos, this should be ok, however if you are like me who does that and also teaches online for 8 hours at a time, this product will fail on you and that is the last thing you need to happen. This is why I give it a 3 out of 5 because if it was not for the freezing and if it was just the quality issue, I would have given this item a 4 out of 5. It also has issues with Teams and Zoom calls. It sometimes freezes. It also does not work with FaceTime at all. RØDE X Streamer has a long way to go to beat the Atem Mini Pro from Blackmagic. If they can sort out the 4k and the freezing, I will consider it again, however for now, I sent mine back to Amazon, as I need a product that does not fail on me. Still a great attempt from RØDE. I think the second iteration of this product will be great! Sorry RØDE the RØDE X Streamer X is a great product however it needs work!

Don't come with a uk plug although sold in the uk other then that good bit off kit and also when received item a day early it had droped in price Sod's Law i suppose only reason for two stars out off 5 was the plug issue and capture card don't work

Røde quality product and, at the special offer price I got it at, is a bargain video capture device. A bit of a pig to get working with my MacBook Pro due to the endless security hoops you have to jump through to authenticate the device to the Mac but once you get there it offers excellent capture quality and no lag on the second screen output when monitoring the captured video feed. I am now able to stream and record training material at a much higher resolution and better quality than the ten quid USB adapter I used previously.

What they don't tell you is that you need a very modern PC to use this. I built my PC just over 4 years ago. Very high spec gaming/editing/3d design PC. However, the motherboard didn't have enough high speed USB ports for this product to work properly. It would either let me have the video capture OR the audio(mic) capture. Never both. I bought an additional USB 3 PCIe card and even that wasn't good enough. If you want this, I'm sure it will work well if you have a PC built in the last 12 months, so just please be aware of that. I returned for a full refund, thank you Amazon.

Absolutely amazing mixer! Replaced my Go XLR as it was making a hiss noise from interference from a replacement powersupply. This mixer is amazing, does exactly what is advertised, and works great for a dual pc stream setup. For the price from what I see for a name brand product there is nothing that can do quite what it achieves!

某配信アプリで少し使いました。歌配信で使ったり、エフェクトだったりをかけて使いましたが、ダメダメでしたね(>_<) ゲームの実況だったり配信に使うのは案外使えるのかもしれません。 購入時はパットだったりがあって面白そうだと思い購入しましたが、専用のPCアプリはとても使いづらくてとてもイライラしました✋ ゲーム配信時に必要なキャプチャーボードも搭載されていますがたしか30FPSまでしか出力されなかったと思うので別途で買うほうが良いかと。

En mi caso estoy encantado. La imagen es de 10 la gestión del sonido también. No tengo nada malo que decir salvo que es una pena que por el precio no te traiga los dos cables usb
