This product surprised me with how good it works. I was skeptical at first as most affordable decoupling solutions are less than ideal. Price was definitely a motivating factor as I did not want "foam" solution. I needed a decoupling solution that actually works for a quick portable makeshift mixing desk.Here is the good part:The response of this product is similar to soffit mounted speakers used in professional studios. I definitely did not expect it. It works in non ideal environments very well as well, provided you have your near fields setup properly. The Vinyl turntable design definitely adds some more drive to the monitors in my experience. The added drive allows you to monitor at low volumes with clean bass response.How to correctly set it up:Set it up like the photo, with the logo protruding forward for most stability and tighter response.I will be buying more of these definitely for each of my monitors.

I bought these to isolate a pair of KEF LS50 from the wooden cabinets they sit on. They took the rumble away and now I have a purer more detailed sound. They look really cool with the 45 RPM record centerpiece design. They are the perfect size for bookshelf speakers like the LS50.

Cleans up the muddiness in the 150-400 Hz region caused by not properly decoupling the monitors from the desk. I had my monitors on foam and it wasn't helping at all, this is what you need to get. My monitors are now much cleaner which in fact improves the bass response as its not all muddied up, and of course the high frequencies and stereo imaging has improved greatly as well.With my monitors (Yamaha HS8) it looks like they're floating but that isn't an issue for me. They are certainly big enough to support these 8in monitors.

I would recommend to anyone to purchase this product, they are worth every cent, I am so happy with this purchase!

I ordered a pair and only got 1 pad. No only that but it was completely yellow instead of the pictured black and the logo said gigpad not wavpad like the photo suggests. Not sure how it works since I returned it already but that was not a good experience.
