Kellogg's Super Mario Breakfast Cereal, 8.4 Ounce Box

The cereal tasted just fine and marshmallows are always appreciated! Having such a big video game icon on the box made mornings exciting for me. I'll admit I really just picked this up for the fact that I'm a Nintendo fan. The amiibo does not really do much in Super Mario Odyssey it gives a coin or so. I think this is to prevent collectors or scalpers but it still would have been nice if the amiibo did something a little more interesting. Overall, I thought this would be a very rare cereal so I'm glad to see I can order it again if I want to, even if they changed the box art since I last ordered.

My boys weren't interested in the cereal per se, just for the amiibo factor. As previously described in other reviews, there are some minor damages to the boxes, but doesn't effect the use of using the amiibo in the game. Maybe these LITERALLY fell off the back of a truck?Immediately my son found the use of the amiibo not helpful. But whatever. Collectors item or not, it was a happy experience. For the moment. LOL! Seeing them happy when it arrived was worth the price. :)They're not too interested in tasting the cereal (which is good since I don't like to have them hyped up on sugar).

The box came undamaged, I have not tried to scan the amiibo, or tasted the cereal. But I love the artwork on the box. Fun for Mario lovers of all ages. It seems a bit overpriced, but where else can you buy Mario cereal? The box itself is the amiibo. I was hoping for a small physical amiibo of the cereal box. That would be cool, and more worth it in my opinion.

Like many folks mentioned, the cereal is similar to Lucky Charms with a more berry flavor. I liked it. I wouldn't buy it again, only because it's impossible to find at MSRP.As for the Amiibo, they really promoted it to be used with Mario Odessey but it doesn't do anything special or different than any non-Mario Amiibo. I was thoroughly disappointed because that was the only reason I bought it.

pretty good. i wasn't expecting top-tier cereal for the price i paid but it's pleasant to eat.the marshmallows with berry flavor were nice along with the almost bland star-shaped cereal.it was shipped in a box so the actual cereal box was in perfect condition.overall, since this cereal is so scarce everywhere else, i'm satisfied with it.

Contents were fine, it's basically Lucky Charms. I bought it as a gift for a 6 year old who loves Mario. Essentially the box is what he really wanted. The reason it has 3 stars is because the box was banged up, scratched and smashed on the corner. Maybe not the sellers fault, maybe it was, it was packaged "loosely" and I am sure it bounced around. Normally, I would send it back for a new one, but I was under a time crunch and didn't have time to wait for a new one. In the end he was happy.

much safer than eating the random mushrooms that i find. while i don't think this cereal lives up to making me anymore super than mario is, my kid seems to like it. it hasn't helped me find my princes yet, and the coin blocks haven't made me any richer the cereal is tasty.

I largely bought this cereal for the nostalgia and memory of the previous mario/zelda cereal that came out in the early 90s. However, I was very impressed by the taste, the cereal is mixed berry flavored which mixes surprisingly nicely with the fun marshmallow shapes. This wonderful taste overshadows the undersized box (just 7 servings!) and somewhat low marshmallow concentration. Also, it comes with a special amiibo if you are into that.
