Purchased for the upcoming solar eclipse. Happy to report that it fits my old 60mm Meade refractor telescope. Many of these old telescopes share dimensions across different brand manufacturers.I ordered the PS60AZ / PS60EQMy Meade Telescope is #226W60mm diameterF = 700mmI removed the visor and used two pieces of cardboard to create a pinhole sun finder, to aid with aiming and prevent any temptation to look towards the sun.I just finally tested it. Sun looks a nice orange color through it. I can make out sun spots.The filter looks almost identical to the stock cap with the smaller aperture to block the heat.Before we got the filter we did a fun project where we projected an image of the sun in a cut out box by removing the eyepiece altogether and using the smaller aperture on the cap.It fits nice and snug just like the stock cap. Still I drilled 3 holes in the dew shield for the screws to secure it on and prevent any accidental removal or bumps.I would have preferred if they had something printed on it to indicate this is the solar filter, and not just a dust cap.

Works great for viewing the sun safely with my 70AZ. Seems overpriced for what you get though... just a plastic cap with the same kind of solar film as those cardboard eclipse glasses. For $25 I'd feel better if the filter was made of plastic. The film works, but it's cheap and fragile. One accidental bump and you'd likely ruin it.

This polar scope is very helpful for improving your Celestron mount's polar alignment. Not mandatory, but helpful. The one thing I did with this polar scope was to replace the tiny, tiny hex screws that are used for adjustment, with the thumb screws that came off the gizmo you remove from your Celestron mount to fit the polar scope into. I would rate it 5 stars if it came with more usable and adjustable screws. If you don't replace them, you better not lose that tiny allen hex wrench.Now there is one thing you should know when you first use the polarscope. The constellation lines that you see through the polar scope do not overlay the actual constellations - only polaris. The field of view is too small for that so you need to look over the scope and place the constellations seen eteched on the eypiece in the same direction.

Purchased this for our Celestron astromaster 70 AZ telescope and it fit and performed perfectly. We were able to get some cool pictures of the eclipse.

Great finder scope to quickly and accurately align the equatorial mount, if you can see polaris with the naked eye. I use it with the help of smart phone app that shows polaris pisition relative to CNP in real-time. The whole process takes few minutes and gives accurate and reliable alignment to record 3 minutes subs free of star trailing without preforming drift alignment. This is more than i need for deep sky photography given the light pollution of the suburbs. Actually images wiuld washout if i record more than 3 minutes ar ISO 800. Unless you want to take much longer subs, this is the best tool. Highly recommend for short subs astrophotography, not really needed for visual use.

Fit my cheap telescope with the screws removed. The screws were cheap plastic but that didn't matter. Saw the sun and my eyes didn't burn off! Saw sunspots and the moon's mountains against the sun's disc. It was so cool!

Wrong size was sent or the description was wrong on the listing. Also didnt come with the instructions as stated in listing. Would have returned it but I accidentally threw the box away. Had to get creative to attach it to the telescope but at least it works as a filter

These will work to filter the sun if they aren't damaged.I am disappointed that it is just a film attached to plastic, instead of something more durable. If a single spec of sharp dust gets on them, they may be ruined and damage one's eyesight.I am also disappointed that it did not fit my binoculars (ordered size 80 for my size 80 binoculars, but maybe telescopes are measured differently, or this only fits one model?)...I made it work by unscrewing all 3 screws and putting them on the inside. This gave them the small additional length necessary to fit snugly on my binoculars, once tightened using needle nose pliers to rotate the screw heads, which were now pressed up against my binocular housing.
