The dura flow ribs create repair issues
This hose keeps flowing even when kinked. It does get kinks but water keeps flowing. I tried to stop water & it keeps going so you must turn off water to change fittings. When it gets older the ends leak where pressed to hose. Then when you decide it is time for new ends you find the the continous flow ribs inside. Now is where you have a problem, those ribs prevent new ends from easily going in. It appears they melted the ribs in order to put ends on. So one has to either cut or melt them away to repair hose. After several years the hose material on outside is still soft but ends tend to leak.
