Chilton Total Car Care Ford Mustang 1979-1993 & Mercury Capri 1979-1986 Repair Manual (Hayne's Automotive Repair Manual)

IF you have a Fox body Mustang from this time period this is the Chilton's you are looking for. This replaced one I bought back in the 90's and it is the same one from that time period. I bought another one that has a same cover but it is not the same. This one here, in my mind, is a true Chilton's with more in depth information. The other one I bought was more like a Haynes from that era. Chilton's did a much better job with repair manuals back then than Haynes with information in their repair manuals.

Fox-bodied Mustangs (1979-1993) are every bit as popular now as when they first rolled off the showroom floor. Whether you are restoring your first Mustang, or maintaining your fifth, you can't go wrong with a Chilton manual. I find them to be better documented and laid out than Haynes, and they go into greater detail as well.

Not comprehensive enough

No info on 4 cylinder engines.

This is not a true chiltons manual. I was expecting to be able to use this book for every part of my car, what a rip off.
