Hair Tools - Chrome Finish Wall Mounted Hairdryer Holder

If you are about to buy a hairdryer holster, and you have realised that plastic is not going to last more than a few days, you are most likely considering the one here or the "Wenko 18280100 Hair Dryer Holder Milano". The one here is much more expensive, so why would you buy it?There are two big reasons which decided it for me. The first is that this one is seriously heavily built. What you are not told in the description, and what you cannot really see from the pictures, is that the rod used to make this thing is 8mm thick! That is very substantial and simply will not break - ever. Neither will it bend - ever. If you add to this that the weld to the plate is very solid then it is pretty fair to say this thing will last a lifetime. The only thing I could see wearing is the chrome, and only then after many thousands of holsterings. So it is truly salon-quality, and will very likely outlast the salon by many years!The second reason you might buy this thing is if you need an offset from the attachment surface. If you look at the photos you will see that the spiral holster is offset from the attachment plate. This offset is fully 55mm; by this I mean that from the attachment side of the plate to the first rung of the holster spiral it is 55mm. Now look at the Wenko 18280100; you see little or no offset... An offset is essential in the case where your work surface overhangs the surface onto which you will affix the device (which most do); in that situation, without an offset, you will find you cannot holster the dryer.These are the reasons I bought this one and not the Wenko. However, in the case where neither consideration is important, the Wenko is a clear winner.

Can't fit the hairdryer in if it has the wife attachment which comes on it as standard on.This was a waste of money for me, couldn't ever use it, ended up screwing a hook into the wall instead and hanging the hairdryer by is cable

I needed a holder suitable for mounting on a wall to the right - i.e anticlockwise twist (most are clockwise) so this suited well and it works OK, but it is not as solid as the others I have bought.

Finally taught my girlfriend to put her high dryer away, praise the Lord!

I bought this for the other half , arrived quickly and in a quite big box, opened up and it's quite sturdy and solid , comes with all the fixings too (3 screws) it took me about 5 mins to fix to the wall with no problem's, her hairdryer fits in perfect and it feels safe and solid , very happy , fellas get the wife gf etc one :) very good space saver and looks stylish too.

Light, neat fitting, easy to fit.

My fourth hairdryer holder as I have them in all bedrooms and have given one to both my children who have their own homes. Brilliant way to keep dryer handy but neatly stored out of the way. Excellent product and service.

GOOD IDEA ALTHOUGH I HAVE TO JUGGLE MY HAIRDRYER A BIT TO GET IT IN - BUT AS IT IS ON THE WALL - SO MUCH SAFER THAN PUTTING YOUR HAIRDRYER ON THE BED OR THE FLOOR!
