This is really nice. It keeps your device from sliding around and has a place for your screws and some tools to keep things organized and from getting lost. I put a magnetic strip under the screw area to help keep the screws stable and in their spots. They are numbered so I printed a pic of my device and wrote the numbers of the screw locations on the image... Suggest they add a magnet to the mat... as your elbow could bump the screws out of their numbered spaces. Until then, I will just use a magnetic sheet under the mat. (also used a heat gun to warm the mat and leave the device on it to soften the glue.I have taken a star off. I really like this, but you really really really need to be careful if you put your micro screws in the grid on the left. One brush with your elbow and it is all over... they will move. A sheet magnet under the mat is NOT enough to keep them in place. (also keep your magnetic screwdriver away from it.) If they added a strong magnet to keep screws in place, I would rate this a 10 out of 5 stars.

I have needed this for a long time. The quality seems good especially for the price. It has different spots for screws and tools. Some areas have magnets to keep items in place.

I bought two of these; one for my spouse who uses the pad to organize her beads while making jewelry. I use the pad for whatever I’m doing which is coin ring making and polishing as well as fine work with watches and anything with small parts and pieces. I like the containment and the size is just right for each of us- roughly 12”X18”. Also, the material is rubber, so it’s flexible and grippy enough to keep bouncy objects from flying away.

I've selected the biggest size (450x300x5mm), and I'll recommend you to follow my expirience. Model S-160.Im sure, that the material is silicone, but haven't tried to burn it yet :)). I believe it has a standard silicone heat-resistance around 300C. And i hope it will survive any touch of the solder iron with no damageThe magnetic places works too, but the magnets are old-school classic. The carpet worth it's money.What could be:1) I would like to have a neodymium magnets inside. But it's better to check such new-style-carpet before a global production. Probably, those new magnets become too strong, and a carpet will start to fly around the room, take care with that xD2) Excuse me, but im not planning to learn chinese in this life (might be in the next one). I'm still trying to complete my english and spanish in additional to the native russian.
