Impressed and disappointed, all at once.
Got this for my wife after she saw it and talked about it. The box is an impressive array of 80's candy, and very well put together. On candy alone it's an ok value, but given you didn't have to go find it all it is a really good deal. However, what we found is candy is a bit of a personal thing. Perhaps 25% of the things were items we really remembered from being a kid. 25% were things we didn't like. 50% were just ok. This is probably more an indication that you can't relive your youth than anything else....Still, I would buy again. If nothing else it is worth the conversation it creates.

Pleasantly Surprised...
I bought this on a Black Friday deal, and after all the mixed reviews was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure if these reviews are getting mixed with another product (there's another, completely different 80s candy box on Amazon) or if the manufacturer changed the product over time. There's no 1-liter of soda in my box, the candy exactly matches what's in the description, and the box/candy seems to be in great shape. I'll admit that I probably wouldn't pay full price, but it was well worth the discounted price and I think the concept is a lot of fun.

Okay but not great
A lot of the candy you can buy in stores. Some of it you obviously can't but when 50% of it is buyable anywhere... Still I don't see bubble gum made up like chewing tobacco anymore. That's worth at least 3 stars. Actually, half the candy looks related to smoking, it's a wonder I don't smoke. The Nintendo Mint Tin, well that's pretty great. The Zots, also, magnificent.

All in One Fun Box!
It is a variety of candy during the 80s. Save me a lot of time and money looking for these items individually. It was a gift which was much appreciated! Maybe he would have given it a higher rate, because I'm not a sweet tooth. I gave it this rate because of it's convenience and the ability for me to have searched it and found it so fast on Amazon.

I wish I would have read the reviews. Totally AWFUL!!!
I was so excited when I purchased this product because both me and my husband grew up in the 80's. UGH!!!! Dont know how people can get away with crap like this. I will need to go to the local candy store and purchase more '80s candy than this crap they sent me. WARHEADS? really? My kids eat those from Walmart today. Everything in the box I can find at Walmart or my local store. I thought this was supposed to be HARD TO FIND....total rip off!!!! Please put this company out of business because they are ripping people off! Do NOT buy from them!

over-priced candy from the early 90's
Very dissappointing, I got this for my girlfriend who loves the 80's. Most of the candy is stuff i can get around the corner at any convinence store, and I got killed on shipping. For the price of this collection of candy I def got ripped off. I knew what I was buying because of the candy list but wow just 1 piece of each candy! and 12 dollars for shipping! I would not have been upset if the candy was really hard to find 80's candy but with the exception of the nintendo candy everything else you can find at a local store.

Coolest box of candy ever!
I purchased the "50's" candy box for my father Christmas 2011... and everyone for the next week was commenting that they wanted it.I bought this one, the "80's" Christmas 2012 for one of my relatives... and the exact same response over the last few weeks!Full size bars, and just yummy! One of the comments was:"Dots are always hard as rocks! These are the first Dots that were soft, they're Awesome!!!!"100% pleased, and more! Will definitely buy at LEAST one of these products next Christmas for my relatives!

Let Down!!
When I saw the picture I was excited. I was going to give this as a 30th birthday present but I decided to try if for myself. It was a huge let down. I don't remember wink soda and it tasted like a generic mountain dew. The candy could have been from any decade. BTW where were the gummy savers. It was mostly generic stuff. Not worth the price at all. Shipping was too much. If they would take out that nasty generic soda the shipping could be cut in half.
