Authentic reproduction of on course lies
I dug out a spot in my back yard so the mat surface is level with the ground. At all three levels, tee, rough, and tight lie, it provides a practice surface for the golfer to replicate shots at home just as he/she will find on the course. Great investment and has the makings of a durable product. My short game improved on the first round I played after a couple of afternoons of practicing with the HealPT mat. It will help your game no matter what your handicap.

Practice makes perfect!
I was concerned that the mat’s size would not allow for proper spacing between stance and golf ball but it’s perfect for use in any stance. It’s the perfect size and weight to carry around. The foam golf balls come in handy for late night indoor practice, which is what I did before my next golf lesson the following morning and the instructor was impressed with my swing improvement and contact. I highly recommend this golf mat!

Good quality surface
Mat seems to be good quality, but is relatively small. Need something to raise your stance and hold the mat in place to go along with it (it tends to move during use).

Great for practicing a little chipping
I bought this to give me a choice of lies for some indoor chipping this winter. It's small enough to drop anywhere but large enough to put even a full swing on the foam balls that come with the mat. Seems to be very sturdy for its intended use and I'm looking forward to using it all winter long.

High quality mat with great versatility
Great product. It is perfect for my simulator. I have been looking for a mat that had different grass lengths so I could recreate some different shots you would encounter on the course. This is a great high quality product and the practice balls are great for indoor use. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys golf

Pretty fun mat for chipping and practicing swings
Pretty fun mat for chipping and practicing swings. I use it inside and all three surfaces work well. The yellow balls are soft enough that you could hit them 100% with a driver inside and not leave a mark on the wall

Very helpful for use at home
The hitting mat is very useful for use at home. My yard is not representative of a golf course/range, having the mat gives me a consistent surface and saves my yard from divots that aren't going to grow back :). While I thought it would be larger, the size is more than adequate and it's easier to manage as I don't leave it in the yard when I'm not using it. The balls that come with it are much better than the whiffle style balls as they provide some realistic feedback. The "rough" portion provides quite realistic feedback that you would experience from the rough.Wish it came with some hooks to secure it to the ground, it'll move if you hit down on the ball.

Good product for the price. Cheap enough for you to experiment with various modification without worry too much.
A decent product with good quality materials. I bought it so that I don't destroy the carpet in my living room plus I like the fact that it has simulated rough patch for chipping and pitching. There are a couple of things I want to mention:- If you put it on the floor at the level where you will stand, you may need to choke down on the clubs a little because the ball sits higher than your feet. Alternatively, use some thick rubber for foam mats to stand on.- The teebox part is good for shorter tees. I found my 2-3/4" bamboo tees sit too high even when I push it all the way down.- Using the real tee make the practice feel realistic. But I had to tie the tee with a string so that it don't get hit too far and make it easier to retrieve. I may eventually drill a hole and use rubber tube tee instead to save time setting up the balls.- The mat has decent weight but it shift slightly each time I hit the balls (especially irons). I had to weight it down with some heavy objects but it still shifts a bit.- The one I got has the fairway part came loose. I have to reattach it with some flooring adhesive.- One of the nice things about this is that I can add some training aid to the mat. The attached picture show how I used two short tees as a guide to practice hitting the ball at the sweet spot.- The free foam balls are good :)
