With over-nighting them and losing more them 2 hours sleep because of how uncomfortable they were, was this worth it? For perspective- naturally I have mid thickness, just touching the small of my back hair with a slight wave. First time I used a little styling/mousse on wet hair and added the curlformers but next day (curlformers removed at 9ish) curls were gone by 12.My second problem with this product is that the 16 curlformers included in this pack are just not enough. I first time I felt myself tugging on my hair to fit it in to the amount provided as if you are trying to get too much hair into one curlformer it really, really hurts and can tangle your hair. I needed at least half as many again to comfortably get all my hair in. It's not exactly like my hair is thick and in my opinion these are not cheap, so having to fork out for another lot was definitely not ideal. (I thought perhaps reason curls fell so quick first time was too much in each curlformer - sadly no). Slightly on the flip side to this though, curlformers claim they will replace any broken genuine product free.My third problem is that they are incredibly uncomfortable to sleep in. Having said this, you can use a dryer on them but that sort of defeats the point of heat free curls. Also, leaving them in overnight creates a stronger, tighter, longer lasting curl in my experience (even if it only doubles your 1 and a half hours). Since these create looser curls overall, if you want them to last more than a couple of hours, I recommend putting them into towel dried hair overnight with styling mousse and then heavily hairsprayed when the desired look is achieved. It takes me about 15 minutes to do my whole head. If you use a hairdryer to complete the look, they can fall within an hour or so, depending on how well your hair normally retains curl.I do feel that if I didn't mind using heat on my hair so much, I wouldn't bother at all with these and would instead consider returning them as you can get amazing curling irons for a similar price (and for me at least create curls with a lot more endurance). Having said that, they do have a nice shine to the curl if you're willing to endure hellish sleep or a whole day wearing them for 2 hours of pretty hair.

Got them today, put them in my long (Half way down my back) / fine hair that was freshly washed but air dry for about 2 hours. Tamed my frizz (balayage, v frizzy) and left a pretty, loose curl. Hair can get a bit tangled going into the curlers but I’m sure with practice that will happen less and less. Leaves a bit of a kink near the top. Really happy with them. Dying to try when my hair is damp! Recommended!

a little tricky to use you do get the Hang of it after a while. I purchased for a night out and one pack wasn't enough for my long hair so ended up at the hairdressers having a cut blow. I would say it's w good products that doesn't damage you hair because it doesn't involve heat good if your just after some casual waves for three daytime

I thought I’d try an alternative to hot irons, and I was not disappointed! I put my damp hair into the tubes and dried it with a hairdryer. The curls were amazing and instant. The only downside I can comment on, is that they’re uncomfortable and pull on your hair. But my curls were absolutely worth it.

Bought these for extra long hair but barely cover half the length of my hair. Either have to use two for each section or only curl the bottom half of my hair.

Got the ones for tighter curls, but wanted one with a losser curl. These are perfect, no damage and easy to do.

The curlers are so easy to use

This set of curl formers are ok. They take a bit of getting used to and but they do the job even though it takes a lot of time to get there. I found them most effective on damp hair and can either allow to dry naturally or use a drying hood if you need quicker drying. The curls come out quite well, but don’t last too long but that could depend on a person’s natural hair quality. The formers are long, they were used on hair that reaches more than half way down the back.You get 16pcs which i don’t think is enough depending on hair thickness and how many curls you want, i feel you could do with a few more. If you bought a second pack then you would have too many and not cost effective. The RRP I feel is not great value. They are fiddly to use and take a while to complete, for the end result this is an acceptable product.
