I buy a lot of these adaptors because none ever seem to have exactly what I need. This one is pretty great, though. First, it's nice and sleek and doesn't add yet another cord to your arsenal. If you are using it with a Macbook, though, depending on the model it might cover up one of the USB ports and/or extend beyond the base of the computer. Not dealbreakers, necessarily, but worth noting. It offers an HDMI port, which is great for adding extra monitors or screens. The headphone jack is great--I don't have another hub with this feature, but it's really terrific for traveling, if you want to have all of your external devices hooked up and ready to go with one plug-in. The speakers sound great through it, too. The whole thing is lightweight and small, so easy to fit into a bag. (Also not having a cord is wonderful for packing, too, when everything gets tangled up.) If this has the ports that you need, it's an excellent product at a good price.

It fully functional as advertised. its holds on to my iPad quite nicely with the magnetic holder

I have a RUBBERIZED PROTECTIVE COVER onmy IPAD PRO (as do most people) and this ‘prevents’ me from using my HUB because the hub ‘stem’ or ‘neck’ is too short!
