Did the job very well. My easy connect hose could not screw onto the cylinder far enough to seal up and prevent leaking. Adding this as an extender made it work just fine.

Had a few old style propane tanks. This adapter allowed me to use with my grill and boiling pot burner. Good quality solid brass at a great price

When we got our new Halo Versa 16 pizza oven, we planned to use an old propane gas tank that we had. We took the tank to a store that refills them, had it recertified, and though that connecting the tank to the oven would be a no-brainer. When we tried to connect the supplied gas hose to the tank, we found that the threads on the tank were on the inside of the fitting, and the hose connector also had the threads on the inside. So, we needed some kind of adapter to connect them. In my research, I found out that the connector on our gas tanks is a POL connector which is one of the oldest standards developed by Prest-O-Lite, and that older tanks must be recertified ever 12 years. There is a manufacture date (month and year) on the collar of the tank. Ours was manufactured 05/78. Although POL connectors are still being used on large tanks the new tanks, newer tanks are made with the threads on the outside to accommodate newer appliances. This is just interesting information I thought I would share. This adapter works perfectly to connect our pizza oven. Simply screw it into the tank connector and screw on the hose connector. It was very easy to use. Considering the cost of a new propane gas tank, this adapter is a great value. The seal is good, and it actually looks nice. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Very nice part with great build quality. No flow restrictions , it sealed tight make it super easy to use the same regulator as my 20lb back up tank, perfect size the threads looked great, just what I was needing for my set up .
