okay, Ill be honest, I had ZERO expectations that this thing would even work, but it was cheap and I couldn't immediately afford any of the more expensive options, so what the hell. Here's the deal, we live on a boat. The marina office is at least 150 feet from our new slip, and wifi was BARELY detectable, utterly unstable, and slow. Speed, when we got it at all, was under 1mbps. Frustrating. So this thing showed up today, and I plugged it in and set it up, clamping it to a bucket on deck. The red light indicated that the WIFI in the marina office was still too far away, but, to my surprise, when I logged onto the thing, we're getting 16mbps +. We've NEVER had this much wifi throughput, even when we had a slip nearly adjacent to the marina office.I have no idea if this is going to stay connected, catch fire, or die in the next ten seconds, but for the moment, I'm pretty much amazed.

Check out the screenshots of the signal. The drone and the WiFi extended were next to said other.When I was close the drone signal was stronger, but as I moved away the extender had a stronger signal. Then the drone kept dishonestly disconnecting, at the end the work extender was still going. Next I will do a range test, probably won't write the results here, unless I'm really impressed. But it does better than in drone!

This device works but regularly loses the signal. I have tried moving around to several places, all within just a few yards of the router, and it is still somewhat unreliable. It will lose a signal and once that happens the signal seems to be lost forever until you reset the device by unplugging it and plugging it back in. As far as I can tell it doesn't try to recover a lost signal or at least it gives up after a few tries.If you only intend to use it occasionally it is OK and it is cheap.

Poor performance. I had hoped this would be better than my other extender but it is worse. The range is very poor. You have to have it within 25 feet or so of your router for it to stay up. My other repeater will go 50 feet. I'm thinking the folding antenna things are fake since they seem to make no difference when positioned at different angles. Do not waste your money.

I bought for my WiFi drone, and it doubled, almost tripled my range!! Super easy to set up! Recommend to all drone flyers!

The wifi disconnects from this frequently. I'm beginning to wonder if I got a bad one or its just junk.

Giving 4 stars because, yes it is a nice product and does what i need it to do but it was kind of frustrating that i had to put it in a direct line of the router, not in a different room or behind too many objects or it would say its too far from router. But other than that it is nice, has good range, came flawless and in good packaging, and was worth the investment for someone who uses wifi daily.
