Well, as a mother of three I'd tried every nit lotion going not to mention the endless tedious combing (especially Harsh for the comb phobic daughter with waist length hair) I put this on and left if over night- and a bit longer- and was really happy with results. Yes you still need to comb but also when I washed her hair after dead ones fell out! I'm really quite impressed!

We had been been battling with head lice and nits for several months, my 4 year old son, 7 year old daughter and me, their mum. It was exhausting and really getting me down as I tried all the top brands but none of them worked - we would always find more lice a week after the second application. Until I was recommended NYDA by a Mum of 3 girls at school and she was right. It really is the only one the works. The smell isn’t the most pleasant but within minutes of applying you could see the little critters dying. Once you wait a minimum of 30 minutes you comb out the dead lice and all the nits that are still stuck on the shaft of the hair. You must follow the instructions, like other brands, and reapply 7-10 days later but the results are fantastic. We saw no lice but continued to use overnight to kill any remaining nit eggs that might have survived the first application. A week later we combed through and there was nothing left. Truly amazing. I couldn’t recommend this product enough.

With 2 daughters we have tried every product going and this is our new favourite. Killed live lice instantly, has a pleasant lemony smell & isn't as greasy as other products on the market. We kept combing a few weeks after and there was the odd nit that had hatched, but I think there is yet to be a product that kills all eggs, so overall really pleased and have already ordered a second bottle for back to school time.

I waged war on headlice for many years when my daughter was small, with limited success. Ten years in, as a teacher I still have occasion to use nit killing products and am so glad I discovered this. It really does work.
