Great value!
This was a last minute gift ordered 5 days before Christmas. It arrived in 2 days and was in perfect condition and looks exactly like the pictures. My son is an advanced player and it plays well. There is no real difference between this and more expensive basses he has previously owned. Great value for money and the perfect gift.

Once it is set up it plays great and sounds good as well
Once it is set up it plays great and sounds good as well. In fact I was so impressed I spent the money and upgraded the bass. I installed the active EQ it does not have like the real stingray bass. I replaced the tuners with Schellar tuners £70 but well worth it. I fitted ferules so the strings now go through the body. As far as I am concerned it play and sounds just as good as the £2,000 stingray that I have owned. I also have the £300 sub bass and I can tell you I never play it. I play the cheaper Benson. Yes it is a good first bass but if you fit the Active EQ that you can buy it is also the last bass you will buy. Only difference between mine and the real one is the alder body rather than ash and the bridge with adjustable damping pads. I can tell you I have thousands of £££'s worth of basses, Fender P bass, Steineburger XP2, Ernie Ball Stingray, Gibson Ripper, Fender Telecaster bass. The Benson is the one I play every day.
