Great value for money & well made. I have not used the brands that cost £100+ so can't compare but certainly for anyone starting out then this works great. It comes with a battery & a good quality holder that has a popper on it so it can be passed through a loop or over a belt etc. it can detect a gold ring from a couple of inches, it will beep repeatably quite loudly as well as vibrate very noticeably. It also has a very bright LED display showing target plus a small light which is also useful. Finally a small stretchy clipped lead to connect to your finds bag so you don't leave it behind. Not sure if it lets you know when the battery is getting low as haven't used it enough yet so also no idea on battery life but I am very pleased with it.

Decent size, works very well, the display is clear and vibration is strong. Its quite light weight. I found loads of stuff with it what has been dug up. Reason for 4 stars, not 5 is, the light comes on every time you switch the pin pointer on, and the on/off button keeps getting hit all the time, even in its holster, it can be a pain. Apart from that it is great bit of kit.

Briliant item. It works very well and it is very accurate at pointing direction. My boy is very happy

I have both this and the synonymous Garrett Carrot. Works just very well and has all the basic functions Pros Functionally easier to use ie stepping through the modes, though it is easier to change mode by mistake visual indication - really missed on the Garrett The sound and vibration indicators imo better than garrret It floats, the garrett sinks but this pro depends on your application Cons Only 1 level of sensitivity, the garret has 3. This has a sensitivity approximately the same as mid level in the Garrett In close proximity to my detector (also a Garrett) it gave false hits No retune function, the Garrett has a quick retune for highly mineralized ground, salt water and homing into large objects This has an interference mode but never needed to use No lost function, on tte Garrett thus activates after 5 mins But the Garrett cost 3 times as much! On a dig I can locate just as fast if not faster, however the false hits when close to the detector is annoying as have to leave it at least 2m away but for the money cant fault it!

More than happy with how well the Pinpoint unit works. Although my metal detector has a pinpoint system, you save so much more time working closer with the DR OTEK pin pointer, once you have detected something. It’s well made and waterproof with all the selections that you should need. It’s already found coins easily on its first day of use

Chose an MT6 PRO pinpointer because of it's quality build and what seemed to be good value for money. I've used it metal detecting for a couple of weeks and it worked a treat. Really simple to use, not sure how long the battery lasts but otherwise can't fault it.

Works very well , the only issue is it keeps turning itself on while in the provided holder , holder too tight maybe, but ok if it’s in a pocket

Calidad precio muy bueno,detecta bien y a la distancia adecuada,la bateria es duradera y parece resistente,nada que envidiar a Garret y a un precio mucho menor,lo recomiendo.

Personalmente no me ha gustado y a sido devuelto, en la primera salida se quedaba pintando continuamente teniendo que apagar y encender, y muchos pitidos falsos, y al tacto es plástico malo parece más un juguete caro
