The best controller on the market, worth every dime!
I pretty much never take the time to leave reviews, but this has been one of those absolute game-changing (no pun intended) product's for me, I felt obligated to share. Exhibit A: I have a lot of controllers... My kids and I are big gamers, so that comes with a lot of consoles. However, I think every one of these controllers shown except the solo wired (turbo) were purchased before the Wolverine V2s. Initially, I was a disgruntled purchaser of the PS/PC V2. I've always been an Xbox/PC/Nintendo player, but last year I decided to branch out and picked up a PS5. Immediately after turning it on and picking up the PS5 controller the first time I was in utter shock, the joysticks AREN'T OFFSET?! What kind of garbage, hand cramping design is that? I digress... So I immediately started searching for PS5 aftermarket controllers with offset joysticks, and initially all I could find looked like garbage with fairly negative reviews except the Wolvering V2, which I thought at $250 was just the most absurd price I wasn't going to pay for a controller period, much less turning a $500 venture into PlayStation into a $750 one. After continuing to scour the internet for another decent PS5 controller at a "reasonable" price and coming up short, I decided to bite the bullet and just buy the V2 (hence the disgruntled). Now, I don't think I'd ever spent more than $80 on a controller and that was for the Switch Pro's, which I still thought was really pricey for a controller and I couldn't believe I was spending over $100, much less $250??? Exhibit B: I don't know how long it took to ship, but let's assume overnight. You can see it took me all of maybe 36 hours to decide I couldn't go back to an Xbox controller. Even though the Xbox V2 was wired, which I couldn't believe, I had been ruined for all other controllers. That covers my first 2... What was the single gift I told the family to chip in on for Xmas last year? A 2nd PS5/PC Wolvering V2 to dedicate to PC so the original could be dedicated to PS, after all who want's to go through the trouble of moving a USB stick between the two? ***Pros*** You're just not going to top the quality of Razer. The product stands up behind it's price tag. The additional programmable M1/M2 next to your Trigger/Bumper is so insanely comfortable to replace those high volume buttons or if you have more than 2 high volume buttons (looking at you Diablo) shift one off of your thumb for not just a more comfortable setup, but reduced mis-clicks. The programmable M3/M4/M5/M6 paddle buttons on the back are incredible for combo button needs (Stick those flasks in your pouch Elden Ring players and seamlessly be able to down HP or FP without drinking the wrong one again!). ***Cons*** Price. However, if you're someone that put your controllers through work and need to replace them periodically, this might not be as expensive as it seems as it will absolutely outlast any standard PS/Xbox controller... No turbo or macro capabilities. (PLEASE Razer, if you're reading this, for the love of god release the Wolverine V3 Pro ASAP with Synapse support for Macros & Turbo!!!) ***Potential Pro/Con*** This is not a "small" controller, it has *slightly* beefier grips than a standard Xbox or PS5 controller, designed (I assume) for ergonomics. It took a while for it to click for me, but I realized during those super-sessions my hands weren't getting as stiff or sore. That being said, if you're someone with really small hands that struggles with the size of those, say if you opt for the Joy-Con controller because the Switch Pro Controller is too big, this probably isn't the right controller for you. Look, do whatever you want, I'm not your dad. But if you do pick one up and end up loving it as much as I do, I hope this review helped!

Best Controller I’ve Ever Used!
I bought the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller for my PS5, and I can confidently say it’s the best controller I’ve ever used! Previously, I was using a Scuf Vantage, which had a similar layout. While the Scuf was nice—especially because I could swap in standard DualShock sticks when they wore out—the build quality left much to be desired. The rubber on the Scuf eventually fell apart, which was frustrating for a premium-priced controller. The Razer Wolverine V2 Pro is a massive upgrade in every way. The buttons have an incredibly satisfying, tactile click that makes every input feel precise and responsive. The materials feel solid and substantial, giving the impression that this controller will hold up over time. Another highlight is the ease of programming the buttons via an app on my phone. It’s so intuitive and straightforward compared to the more manual, analog process of the Scuf. If you’re looking for a high-quality, reliable gaming controller for your PS5, I can’t recommend the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro enough. It’s worth every penny!

Good review gone bad.
I was so exited to use this controller. I read a few good reviews... one being like a 5 minute long read... so I ignored the bad ones and bought the controller. First thing I noticed, was that the box was torn. Second thing I noticed was that the replacement pads for the joy sticks did not match. Eh. I could look past all that. Next issue. I got it set up to play... and the stick drift was sooooo bad that it wasn't playable. The L2 button was also sticking so bad, that I thought my connection was lagging. So I switched out the controller to be certain. Definitely not an internet connection issue. As I was using my original controller, I was getting notices on my screen saying to switch profiles, because the Razer controller was so messed up that it thought someone was trying to use it. So. Exchanging it is not an option. I am having to wait until my item goes through the entire return process before I can get the $160 back to buy a new controller.

I really wanted to rate this 5 stars…
But I can’t. I do love this controller and it’s great to not experience stick drift but there’s a couple things keeping it from 5 stars. I love that it’s both wired and wireless and also works on PC. I love the RGB and extra mappable buttons. I love that it’s licensed by Sony. I don’t love the missing haptics you get on the standard PS5 controller. Razer claims it’s because it’s a “Pro Controller” and pro’s don’t use haptics. That’s cool but why does this same controller for the Series X have it then? I don’t love that it doesn’t have the speaker seen on the standard controller. Although if I had a choice between haptics and the speaker, I’d take the haptics but here both are missing. So the last thing I really don’t like is the price. It’s two high to be missing the speaker AND haptics. The price would’ve been more justifiable with those features but without, it feels way overpriced. $250 is kind of insane when it’s missing two key features of a $70 controller. The Series X version is $180 (probably cheaper now) and at least that thing has the haptics. Although it’s only wired so maybe that’s the difference? Would I buy this again? Yea probably but not at $250.

Overpriced
Controller is comfortable and solid. I have to admit the lack of rumble, and adaptive triggers is pretty crazy. I know it states it in the box, but for the price it should REALLY include it or at least a carrying case? Where do you put the extra sticks? Other “pro” controllers have them included for the same price. Handing wise with the app it’s great, if anything just cumbersome. Booting up the phone app and pairing to your phone is relatively easy, but again at that asking price I feel like they could’ve had a more elegant solution. Clicky micro switch buttons feels great. The shoulder and control stick feels great. The sticks themselves feel a bit “looser” but still responsive. I never felt like any inputs were being missed. The rear back buttons help a lot with shooters and even with some other RPGs like Monster Hunter. If you can find it under $100 bucks give it a try. But at its asking price of $100+ it’s hard to justify. It doesn’t feel premium enough. You’d be better off looking at a dual sense edge or alternative. It’s a bummer, I really wanted to like this controller. At the end of the day it’s a good product, just overpriced.

Amazing and worth the price
The app is weird but easy to get use to. Had it three months without cleaning and no stick drift issues. The buttons have satisfying clicks when pressed. Easy to switch from wired to wireless. Would highly recommend for any gamer.

No Bluetooth Connectivity? No Tactile Feedback? For $150, No Way...
This controller would be excellent if not for two concrete things and one speculative one: Concrete: 1) No traditional tactile feedback 2) Bluetooth only serves for configuration and communication through their app Speculation: Build quality is such that I doubt this will withstand an adults regular use beyond a year Tactile and Bluetooth Gripes The mechanical buttons represents the totality of tactile feedback while using the controller. No adaptive triggers, no haptic voice coil, no rumble motors. Just the clickety clack of the buttons...I know what youre thinking: thats kind of a stretch right? I think so too but it's what Razer says about its buttons in their marketing and they do click nicely so Im passing that info on to you. If you want to use this with your apple tv or need Bluetooth connectivity (iphones, tablets and other steam remote play enabled options) youre out of luck. You connect via cord or 2.4ghz dongle. Full stop. Also don't expect Nacon's headphone connectivity via bluetooth. It's for config and that's it. Build Quality Razer makes pretty things with a degree of planned obsolescence you could set your watch to. It might REMIND you of Apple's hardware in terms of materials and design aesthetics but it's a far cry in reality. You notice it with this controller the first second you pick it up. At 250 grams it's about the weight of a DJI Mini Drone....a device built light to be able to defy gravity. I dont know for certain but im pretty sure flight is not one of the wolverine's out of the box abilities, which bolsters my feeling that it's just kind of crappy. Right before deciding to return it I tripped over it's cord and for a hot minute misplaced the dongle. It was in the couch blanket along with the controller itself which was so light that when I shook the blanket out a didn't feel it go flying out, smacking my dog in the face. That little story might have been sufficient to review this controller. sorry I wrote it last. Conclusion: If youre buying it for yourself, you should take a serious look at Nacon's Revolution or The Sony DualSense Edge instead. If you got it as a gift, don't mind the lack of tactile feedback, and can work around the connectivity limitations it's a pretty cool controller. Its worth more than youre likely to get for it used so maybe try to see past that stuff.

Best controller I’ve had yet.
I love this controller. From the tactile micro switch dpad and face buttons, to the smooth triggers and joysticks I’m desperately trying to make this one last. Gotta play with clean hands and do my best not to crush this thing to death. The trigger locks and extra switches are easily accessed. I love the LED light show this thing puts on. The only drawback is the rather pitiful battery life. Also wait for it to go on sale if you can. It’s a bit over priced even at $200 imo. But I’m a razer fan and will always go back to them. But other wise the back paddles are perfect and extra shoulder buttons are all customizable mean you hit every possible configuration and can swap em quickly using the app on your phone which was user friendly, imo. 10/10 as good as it gets, def recommend.

Razer quality is dropping
Been using Razer Raiju Ultimate for years on PC and PS4. Trying this Wolverine v2 Pro because of PS5. Rather disappointed as it felt like there were more downgrades than upgrades. Pros: Hyperspeed, clicky directional pad and buttons, changable stick and audio jack. Cons: RGB (not ARGB!?), plastic feels cheap unlike the Raiju, no haptic, not even basic rumble.. wireless connection only via its dongle, no basic bluetooth connection.. Overall, it is disappointing and regretted my purchase. Better off with Sony's Dualsense Edge. Hoping to return this.

Buttons got loose
I rebought the controller because of stick drift. I had the previous one for more than two years. However, this one had an issue within one month of having it. The bottom buttons (M5 & M6) got loose.
