It causes severe bloating and stomach ache even when taking less than the recommended beginner-user amount of the fiber and increased amount of water. Not sure the negative effects will go away over time or not. Insofar they did not.

This kidney cleanse system seems to work well. The capsules are easy to swallow and the fiber powder is tasteless. However, the fiber doesn't dissolve very well in my morning coffee at the recommended dosage. I'm going to try reducing the fiber into smaller doses more frequently, but that adds an annoying extra step of having to take it multiple times rather than just once.
