For a great low pressure diffuser to go along with this pump we recommend the Matala MDB11, which manages from 40 to 80 liters of air well and is self-cleaning. However, if your pond is an oblong shape or divided by an island or other obstacles and requires two diffusers, or if you simply want a really strong movement of air and water, we would recommend a larger pump. Dividing a 60 liter pump between more than one diffuser will probably not provide the results you are looking for. Customer Service **Q: How well does this pump perform in heat? (110 degree weather)** A: It has not gotten to 110 degrees where we live, but the pump has worked fine during our hot humid summers, in south Louisiana. I clean the filter every month, and I replace my filter every year. I put my air pump on top of two cinder blocks because the septic tank area does flood a lot.
