It is what it says. I got this specifically to use with the Mountain House meals as you need to stir those with a long handle. What I didn't realize is that the fork part of this item will puncture the bag, obviously, and since I didn't know how much force would be too much, it didn't really work for the reason I bought it for, but that's not the fault of the product. The one star ding is because to my eye it's not a nice looking item. Yes it's just a spork, but the polished bowl is too shiny and the bowl could be a tad larger and it's just weird looking. Even though it's just a spork. My other titanium stuff is the dull grey color; this is bright and shiny, at least at the working end. I don't even know if this item is titanium. Seems to be a light stainless steel with the handle spray painted grey. I don't know; it's light enough anyway.

Handsome little utensil. The prongs are actually long enough to use as a fork, so it works for noodles. the length is great for bag meals, and getting to the bottom of the pot, but it makes is difficult to nest with your cookware. not a big deal since its so light and sleek you can stash it anywhere. Just get it...it's cool AF.

I had another brand of spork for my back country hikes. However, they were shorter, not a big deal to get to the bottom of my cooking cup. I purchased this spork because it was longer and recommended by many hikers as durable. Its the little things that make a difference. As now my sweaty and dirty hands don't have to touch the inside of my cup when I'm eating on the trails.The seller was quick, in addition the product was exactly what I purchased. I absolutely love this spork and would recommend it to anyone. I was looking for something with a longer handle so that I could eat out of the camp-food bags like backpackers pantry, peak refuel, etc. I liked the idea of a spork because it checks both boxes of a utensil that can stab and scoop.The Rakuen spork is extremely light, but because of the way the handle is shaped, it is very strong. I love how the bowl is polished because you can clean off even the most stubborn dry, crusted, caked on food debris with just some water and a rag or your shirt.I will probably buy a few more of these for my family and for extras when I hunt/camp. Excellent product!

Perfect for backpacking as it is strong, light and long enough to reach into the bottom of a freeze dried food pouch without getting food on your hands. Though it looks and feels very sturdy, I keep it in my bear canister so I don’t inadvertently bang it against a rock when putting down my pack.

I have been doing canoe trips for years now and have been using my short 2 sided spork (fork at one end and spoon at other). I always found it somewhat awkward to pack and way too short to use for those freeze dried food packs (more and more a necessity as we do more and more portages). I decided to try something different this year and went with the longer Rakuen. I like that it has its own bag and I fount the straighter handle much less awkward to pack. It is light weight and the longer handle was sturdier and much better suited to the deep freeze dried pouches.If you eat freeze dried food out of the pouches, get this spoon!

I've used quite a few utensils in the past when backpacking the mountains. This one is PERFECT for dehydrated meals that have deep pouches. Really gets down into the corners and helps you scrounge up those last bites. The matte finish on the handle offers a solid grip while the stainless finish on the spork end is a really nice and clean feeling, which is a surprisingly refreshing thing to have when you're dirty/grimy from being in the woods for days. It's lightweight and comes in its own little storage pouch. Love this guy and consider it one of my favorite pieces of camp gear. Silly to consider a spork a favorite but I love this thing.

It's sturdy yet lightweight, the polished bowl is a definite plus, the bag should help keep it clean between uses. I really like it, and would recommend it. Now for the nitpicking. The tines are a little longer than I had looked for, and I wish the angle between the handle and the bowl was a little less for easier vertical use in a more confined space, such as a tall narrow pot or a meal pouch. That said, I still look forward to many years of outdoor gastronomic enjoyment with this nifty utensil.
