Men's Daybreaker Fleece Jacket Jacket

Similar in nearly all respects to another Helly Hansen garment I've been wearing for some few years, but seemingly less substantial (perhaps because of the substitution of mesh for the inside pockets). It's certainly lightweight, but the lack of material substance seems to make it stick (as if by static) to underlying clothing when you put it on or take it off. Also, I've noticed a tendency for the area around the back of the elbows to "shine up". That said, it does keep you warm. I bought the navy version, which at the time came up cheaper than any of the other colour options and for the price I paid (a little under £30) I'd say it offers pretty good value.

Not delivered as described. I ordered graphite blue with orange detailing, but the detailing EPA’s a nondescript grey. Disappointing, but not bad enough to send back.This garment seems very flimsy and thin compared to other quality fleeces I own. It is also slightly too small, so I will have to wait until I’ve lost some weight before I try it out.I hope that the thin and light fabric isn’t an indication of poor quality, but sadly, I suspect that it is. I will do another review if I can at a later date when I’ve worn it washed it etc.

I bought this fleece as a replacement for an identical but older one that I already own. Choosing the exact same product I was expecting the same quality as before. Whilst the finish and fit are identical and similar to the older version, overall I wasn't pleased with the quality of the cloth. It feels noticeably thinner, more lightweight and not as warm. I'm guessing that the manufacturer has used cheaper, thinner, lesser quality material to maintain a price point.

A little thinner than I would have imagined. But a nice light fleece for Spring / Autumn or indoor use.Fits well, snug, arms about an inch too long but not a deal breaker.What I like about it is, although a snug fit, it seems to be breathable. I haven’t felt overheating or perspiring like some cheaper fleeces.All in all a good solid buy.

I've always loved HH products and been buying ski wear and casual clothes for year however the arms on my fleece seem to have been made for Peter crouch and are far too long.On a positive note I have cut 6 inches of material away from both arms and the jacket now fits me perfect with the benefit of gaining a headband and matching snood for free.

I looked at lots of fleeces to replace my Nike ACG fleece and settled on this one. It’s so light weight it fits in my bag easily and you’d hardly know it’s there! In fact when you pick it up it always surprises by how light it is. The Polartec protection is pretty good, albeit not as good as the Nike Thermatec system but then the ACG fleece was many times more expensive and is also heavier. Five stars for value for money!

Great fleece worn over a tee shirt, or as a mid layer under a thicker jacket or coat during colder months,lightweight and good price.
