For the price (just under $8), the quality is good. The mannequin poses relatively well, but not all joints are easy to position and take force, so am wondering if it will stand up to repeated use. Perhaps a small issue, but the advertisement for the female mannequin stated 13-inches. The one I received was 12-inches; notation on the box it came in was also 12-inches. The box was somewhat battered and crushed, but the mannequin itself was ok. It was shipped in a bubble envelope. A box would have provided better protection.

I am a photographer who has a HARD TIME knowing how to pose a model. By knowing how to move each joint (foot, leg, elbow, etc.) on this mannequin, and the trying to replicate these same positions on a model when in his/her company might be a good learning tool for me.I have (2)...just TWO good poses that I can suggest a model use, after that...well, I am solely at her discretion if something is worthy or not for photographing and it looks bad when they are all counting on the photographer to tell them what looks good and what doesn't. So, if this can help art students, hopefully it will help me and hopefully you as well.

it was good until the kids using it broke it. They tried forcing the one direction movement in another direction and "SNAP!" I also dont like how the screws are located in an area where if they unscrew after awhile, you can't screw it back in or fix it easily. Poor design which can easily be solved by placing the screws on the outer seam instead of the inseam. But you buy cheap, you get cheap.

It came like it had been used. There were rub marks all over it and the arm had orange paint on it. Never mind that the box was hanging on by a thread. I desperately need it for an art project or else I would see about returning it.

Motion is limited and not sure how to lock into place.
