So.....I was very attracted to this box set, but, wary of perhaps poor sound quality. To my astonishment the sound is superior and very natural sounding--even the very old Hot Fives & Sevens. I was really surprised the oldest tracks lacked surface noise & had decent articulation. So for all this those comtemplating this purchase, I'll think you'll be completely pleased you invested in this economical musical treat. Variety is very good and Louis does a number of nifty duets with well known singers. All considered, this a safe bet for all those interested in this great artist.......In closing, I'd like to say I'm very favorably impressed with the manufacturer DMG of these 100 Hits Legends. Demon Music Group in my estimation really obviously puts a lot of effort & care into their remastering. They probably love what they do and it shows. I've got quite a few of their box sets and they're all really good. The Mario Lanza box set is an especially striking standout soundwise & has terrific song selections typical of the other sets. For me, I'll have not the slightest hesitation in purchasing the other sets I've missed.
