I purchased this kit for the lights. I do like the fact that they are LED and dimmable. They work great in my studio and provide clean balanced light. I get 5500 K out of the lights. I keep one light in each configuration as shown on the site. i.e. one tall one wide. This works best for me. The head is light gage plastic so it will not take a lot of abuse like a full time pro will dish out but for the average person this should work great. Light stands, get better. I did not purchase this kit for the stands and did not expect much here. I have Manfrotto's, Wescott and JTL's with much larger tubes than the kit stands. Overall I am pleased and already recommended this to the camera club at the last meeting

I recently purchased the Litebox LED lights for my Ebay selling business. In the past, I have used some a cheap umbrella light kit that worked ok; however, they did not provide anywhere near the white, bright, and intense light that these lights provide. These lights were easy to set up, work amazingly well (love that you can adjust the intensity), and have made my product photos look amazing!

I will try my best to explain this product as much as possible. In 3 words I love it.It is very practical and easy to set up. You can basically assemble and disassemble your system under 5 minutes. The used material in this product makes you feel the high quality when you touch it. The skin of the softbox and the diffuser are really nice and the Velcro’s are very useful. I can tell that they will wear for a long time. And having the LED system is very beneficial and make everything easy to carry. Also, the bag comes with it and everything fits inside which is awesome for to go shots. It pays of every dollar you spent on it !!! Very cool.

Great lights and customer service. Bought these lights and I love how light weight they are and how bright they get. Also I like that they aren't very deep but they have a large bright surface area. The dimmer works well too. There is a fan inside each light which you can hear that's why the are calling them photo lights. The customer service is top notch. I needed to contact them and they replayed with in 12 hours. Super friendly and helpful.

So far I really like this lightbox and I'm glad I made this purchase. Provides great lighting when taking pictures and I love that the bulbs are LED and not CFL.

I understand these are basic lights, but you still expect basic usability.The rods to hold the softbox out take a bit of wrangling to get in place. This is usually the case with this design, but when the light itself is plastic, as opposed to steel, I'm a bit scared if this will last long at all.The fan is noisy. In a quiet room, the microphone on the talent hears the multiple fans whirring away. I was considering maybe replacing the fan with a quiet one, but...Now the light just flickers. It's on, and the dimmer is set, but the lighting levels bounce. At first I thought it was a one-off thing, but it is consistent and, unless I was looking for that effect, the light isn't usable to me any more. I've tried adjusting the dimmer, letting the light cool, letting the power supply cool, and nothing helps.So now I have noisy, flickering lights that I don't use.

The stitching is horribly done on the hoods and on all velcro for the whole package. I assembled the lights for the first time and the stitching immidiatly started falling apart. I don't foresee these standing the test of time. At this rate they will be falling apart by the 3rd use. The lights are nice quality though. I like the dimmable feature, but this package is definitely not worth the price. I expected better quality at this price point.

First time using adjustable lights so it was uncharted territory but other than that new feature, I prefer soft boxes over umbrellas as that's my preference. Having a bag is very nice since it's a lot of equipment to haul around. Lights weren't as hot despite being on for a couple of hours.Pros: Lights are adjustable. Covering for softbox has velcro on the side for easy application. Battery cord is very long. Softbox is optional and the light can be used by itself.Cons: Softbox is extremely hard to assemble by yourself and disassembling as well. Obviously no marks to indicate the height but that's something we all can overlook.
