Attach the bars to the upper gutter. Place the orthosis Oniris in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Make sure the water covers the trays for 2 minutes then remove the orthosis from the water using a suitable utensil and wait for about 15 seconds. Stand in front of a mirror and put the aligners in your mouth. Make sure they are aligned with your teeth. Tighten your teeth firmly on the aligners without moving your jaw forward. Wait 2 minutes without moving and keeping your jaws tight. Store the device in its box at a temperature below 40°C. After each use, clean the device with a toothbrush and toothpaste. Then rinse with cold water. The use of lozenges is also recommended to prevent the appearance of odors, biofilm and prolong the life of your orthosis. The orthosis ONIRIS has a lifespan of the order of 18 months, one of the longest for self-adaptable orthoses on the market. This duration can vary according to several parameters: the acidity of your saliva, the quality of maintenance, the frequency of wearing, etc.
