Cuoco Caponata Di Melenzane - 7oz

A traditional Sicilian recipe in a can. Sardines,currants and raisins. Just heat and serve over pasta. I went to the pantry to check on ingredients, and found that all the cans were gone.We will be ordering more.

I've enjoyed Cuoco Sardine Sauce since a child growing up in NY. I follow a recipe for St. Joseph's Pasta but serve it with sweetened breadcrumbs. Even my children enjoy it. I moved to VA and none of the stores hear carry this product. I usually order 6-8 cans to cut down on shipping costs, but this time, my delivery contained many dented cans.

Ugh. It was a homogenous brown concoction that didn't taste like anything really-- not sweet or savory or very Italian. Hard to distinguish its ingredients since everything was so mushy. Save your money, keep shopping.

This is Wonderful. Takes me back to my Childhood and Dinner with my Italian Family. Can't beat the Quality and the Price is Awesome. Thank You Amazon .Com for one of my Favorites ~

I just saw Antonin Scalia interviewed by Piers Morgan. When asked what his favorite pasta sauce was Scalia mentioned this Sicilian sauce in a yellow can. Kinda funny, no?
