Wonderful product, and such a good price! I want to know, remotely, the temperature of water in my attic-located (and highly-insulated) domestic hot water tank. This is important to me because I heat my hot water using free electricity from my solar panels and I need to know at the end of the day whether I need to top up the temperature using the gas boiler feed. I asked all my local electrical suppliers if they had such a thermometer and all shook their heads, so I searched on the web and found a purpose-designed tank thermometer for about £200... then I found this one and thought it must be too good to be true... I extended the lead to about 5 metres with bell-wire and connectors and taped the probe onto the hot water outlet pipe close to the tank using heat transfer paste and plastic tape. The wire extension was run down an existing cable duct into the kitchen and the unit attached to the wall with adhesive velcro, so it can be removed to change batteries. IT WORKS !!!

So easy quick to use works as described and so cheap.This gadget can't be bettered
