Does what it says, a little goes a long way.
A little goes a long way. It works but I wished I had chosen a different colour as the red dye was not the easiest to spot against red clay pipes. I would choose a green or blue next time. TIP - Wear gloves, don't get it on your hands!

Used for tracking source of water in cupboard
I was stumped when I found water leaking into my kitchen cupboards. Was it coming from the toilet or bathroom upstairs? From the central heating? From a hidden pipe behind the cupboards? Seeping by capillary action from the ground upwards? Etc. Turned out it was from an air brick in the wall above the cupboards. Thing is that nothing has changed for at least a decade, so why now? Anyway, the red dye proved conclusively the source.

It's dye. It's red.
This dye is fantastically potent. A small spoonful on your cereal would get you looking sunburnt all over for weeks. It's easy enough to trace when used (as I used it) for tracing fluid patterns in an engineering test rig. It's also, I found, a good thing to stick in shower heads and toilet cisterns if you want to surprise someone with jazzy coloured water. The colour is a more pinky-red (rather than blood red) if that helps.

Ho avuto modo di testare il tracciante nell'ambito di un lavoro di rilievo di una rete fognaria. Ho acquistato il tracciante di colore rosso in quanto più facilmente distinguibile di un tracciante verde e ne sono rimasto molto soddisfatto.

à diluer dans l'eau ou mettre quelque grain et attendre la pluie qui révélera l'infiltration..
pour recherche de fuite à plusieurs couleur il existe aussi en bleu, jaune, vert..!
