Unseen Vogue: The Secret History of Fashion Photography Paperback – 4 Nov. 2004

A fantastic book for anyone interested in fashion or fashion photography as it shows some great photographs by amazing photographers which you might have not seen before as they haven't been published in Vogue, as the title suggests.

Nice book.

5 stars as a visual record of Vogues photographic history, BUT the printed word in this edition is so small its difficult to read.

If you love fashion, especially the world of the fashion photography you must have this book with you. Very interesting and it comes with high quality photos.

Would agree the content is excellent based on just viewing the photographs. However with the paperback version, the captions/descriptions are very hard to read, even with glasses. I wish now I had purchased the hardcopy version as it would have been a wonderful keepsake to go with my Chanel and Prada books.

Il libro non è grandissimo quindi ovviamente penalizza le foto ma i colori sono ottimi e ogni foto viene raccontata, dicendo qualcosa del fotografo e della modella.Solo modelli femminili purtroppo. Comunque un'ottima enciclopedia per chi, come me, voleva almeno conoscere i nomi dei più grandi fotografi di moda e avere un overview del loro stile, per capire chi piace di più e chi meno.

雑誌「VOGUE」の未発表写真を集めたもので、語られなかった多くの物語が結集しています。British Vogueに保管されている150万枚の画像から、今までに見たことのない（Unseenの）300枚強の写真が選ばれています。巻末に人名索引あり。本書の強みは、何といっても撮影状況を詳しく説明している点で、掲載経緯・未掲載経緯がよくわかります。もちろん、フォトグラファー（撮影者）、ファッション・デザイナー（衣服設計師）、モデルに関する説明もありますが、これも編者たちの観点が盛り込まれているので、秘話として読むことができます。
