There is essentially zero difference in the efficacy & duration of action between the expensive comparable name brands and this. The box says to compare it to the Advantage II equivalent, which I have experience with. While the ingredients and all seem identical and likely are identical, it genuinely seemed to me that not only did this brand work just as well and as fast as Advantage II, it seemed to last slightly longer (I doubt there was a noteable difference if there was a difference at all). Bottom line is that you are essentially getting the most respected, best performing, highest quality topical flea treatment for cats on the market for half the price. If you liked Advantage II & it worked well for you, I couldn't recommend the desertcart Basics equivalent more. Great product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works like the prescription topicals, best bang for the buck *by T***M on July 4, 2026* just over a week ago we used this on our cats. this stuff works on fleas really good.
