Cuxwill CD Slot Car Mount, Universal CD-Slot Car Phone Holder with One-Hand Operation design for iPhone X/8/7/6/6S/ and Other Smartphones

I have been looking for a way to hold my iPhone so that I can see it, especially if I’m using it as a sat nav.Previous to this was a vent mounted holder- but it cut off air through the vent and has damaged it so the vent will need replacingI have tried those that stick to the dashboard or window. After a while they seem to fall off and then it starts to drop off more quickly.I don’t use my car stereo for CDs as everything streams from my iPhone through the AUX. The holder has an adjustment to secure it. When you first push it in you have to use some force but it is secure and there is an adjustment screw to really fix it in place.The issue I’ve found so far is that the hazard light switch is partially hidden.So until I can afford a CarPlay unit this seems to be the perfect solution

I've had no end of bother getting a mobile holder for my mini, the air vents are circular and so dont take most fittings, and suction cups are always rubbish.This product slots into the cd tray on the dashboard, and as i don't use the cd, it seemed a perfect solution.Fitting is easy, slots straight into the cd drive, followed by a bit of a tighten. I've tried the cd player and it still works; no damage caused!The phone fits into a cradle which is well sprung and tight fitting, it appears well made and has my confidence.

I ordered this as a solution to my ford focus mk3's issue of having vents that are difficult to attach phone holders to. I installed it quite easily however its clearance with the power button for my stereo is small and will sometimes turn off the stereo if there is a bump in the road. As well as this the grips will sometimes fail and the whole mount will come out when I try to put my phone into the holder. However the design is not unattractive and it works for the majority of the time.

I'm a new driver so i was on the lookout for a device that would allow me to use google maps whilst not blocking my vision of the road. This nifty device slotted into my CD slot in my car (who used a CD player in 2018?..no offence). All i had to do was shove it in and then turn the knob and it tightened and wouldn't budge at all.I'm really happy with this device.I should probably say that you can use CDs with this in. Simply remove the mount, add your CD and then remount it and it will be perfectly fine.

I have a Ford Fiesta and have struggled trying to find a phone holder that does not attach to the window, or the dashboard as my dash is slightly textured so nothing really stick to it.Saw this and didn’t have very high hopes but it is brilliant!! So easy to install, so sturdy, I drove for 6 hours and used my phone in the holder for sat nav, and it did not move at all.I would completely recommend this and I delighted with this

Unlike other car mounts I have tried. No matter what I drive like my phone does not move when in this phone holder. As long as you don’t want to play any cds in your car while driving. This is the phone holder for you. Quick easy install anyone can do it.

This in-car phone holder is superb. I have tried many different types in the past and eventually discarded them all. However this Cuxwill unit works really well. It sits in the CD slot and is stable, vibration free and at a perfect position for viewing. If you have a preloaded CD in place you can still play it whilst the holder is in position !! It is so easy to use I think it deserves a design award.These holders are so good I've bought another one for a second car.
