Thin pages
My grandson liked it,but the pages were thin,so I had to take it away from him so he wouldn't tear the pages

Cute
Adorable book for young kids. Remember, this book is for YOUNG kids, a lot of the knowledge is going to be in layman's terms for the kids. My son loves it!

Great Buy and Full of Great Information!
This was a Xmas gift and the recipient and his mom thought this was a super cool book! I concur! I even learned a few things from this book.

Advanced concepts like "why is the sky blue?"
Interesting book, but it seems a little advanced for the intended ages.

SpinMaster drivel
Disappointing. Very disappointing. Looks nice, but a waste of paper and money. A trademark of Spin Master is on it. The book is obviously a lazy way to cash in and just take advantage of little ones enthralled with the "name brand". The book contains only 32 "facts". Though one incorrectly answers the question "Why do caterpillars make cocoons?" with the answer "So they can become butterflies!" Butterflies emerge from a chrysalis which is (the hardened body of) the pupa. A cocoon is a separate creation often spun from silk the pupa resides in during its transformation. I find it way more interesting a caterpillar creates a protein that hardens it's skin to protect itself while it 'reorganizes' itself from a creature that crawls and 'damages' plants to one that flies and helps pollinate plants! Pure laziness on the book's creators part, even with the brand. The characters are represented extremely unevenly. Rocky appears only in a group on last page and the back cover, while the Mayor has two pages and a cat has its own page! Unfortunately it's very obvious because Rocky is grandson's favorite. Others may be satisfied with this marketing drivel. I'm not. I'd return it except I'll spend $5 in shipping for a $7.41purchase and they'd have the book back to dupe some other poor shmuck into buying it! So for $2.41 I'll save the time preparing it for return and have the satisfaction of tossing it into the trash. I'm thoroughly disgusted with this shoddy and shameful marketing of children's products.
