BLACK+DECKER 12 Cup Thermal Programmable Coffee Maker with Brew Strength and VORTEX Technology, Black/Steel, CM2046S

I am so happy to do a review about this coffee pot. I’m gonna tell you everything I love about it. I love the fact that it has a carafe. I love the fact that it has a button you can press to make it stronger. I have to say this is the best cup of coffee I’ve ever made in my own home. It is absolutely delicious and I don’t use anything but Folgers nothing special. If you get this, you will not have a problem. You will not have a bad cup of coffee. When I first got it, it did some leaking. I went to the troubleshooting. It told me how to fix it. Well now it’s perfect. I also like the fact that there is a Customer Service phone number that you could call if the troubleshooting doesn’t work out. So many companies nowadays want you to text and they don’t want to talk to you. Well, I feel like I should be able to talk to them if I bought the product. This company feels like I do because of that I appreciate them. The coffee pot is very large and it also is very high. It does not fit under my cabinets, which is a problem. Well, it fits under my cabinet. I just can’t open the top. So I solved it by buying a round apparatus that has wheels on the bottom that people use for plants. I’ve set it on that and now I can roll it back to the wall and forward when I wanna fill it problem solved. The price is very reasonable. I think I mentioned that that’s also very important in this day and age. You will not be unhappy with this coffee pot, with the carafe that keeps it warm for quite a while. Follow the instructions to put hot water in it first let the pot warm-up. I also don’t dump the water out. I put the hot water in the coffee maker and it makes the coffee hotter. It is just steaming. This is a great product if you’re looking for great coffee this is the one to buy and remember it may leak when you first get it, don’t worry about it. Just follow the instructions. Make sure the ball is hitting the pot and it’ll be fine. Best coffee I’ve ever had in my house.

Only had it a day, but, easy to use, coffee taste great, reasonably priced , and is still hot six hours later! You need to buy a mesh filter, it does not come with it.

Great coffee maker so far. I like the metal craft. It has easy access to add the coffee and the water. Brews is a good cup of coffee. It seems to be a good value for what we paid.

I bought this coffee maker to replace our Cuisinart coffee maker that gave up the ghost after many years of service. I wasn’t sure about my choice to go with the Black & Decker because it was quite a bet cheaper than a new Cuisinart but I have to say it’s been great and I don’t regret my choice at all. My biggest gripe with the Cuisinart was how small the opening on the carafe was that made it difficult to clean. The Black & Decker has a large opening making cleaning a breeze. It also has a better pour spout than the Cuisinart. The only downside is that the carafe doesn’t keep the coffee hot as long as it predecessor did but that’s rarely a problem in our household. The programming display is also a little Hard to read with my old eyes. I doubt it would be a problem for younger users. All in all it makes a great cup of coffee in under 10 minutes and I often use the scheduling feature so I wake up with that first cup waiting for me in the mornings.

I’ve had this coffee maker for several years now and I’m very satisfied. It has a 12 cup brew capacity which is plenty for us. It also fits well with our kitchen decor with the black on stainless steel color. I line that it keeps the coffee hot in an insulated carafe rather than a hot plate so the coffee never burns. It has been very reliable so far. Also, the process to set the delayed start is very easy so we set up the coffee maker at night and have coffee ready for us when we make our way to the kitchen.

Honestly I did a lot of research before buying this coffee maker (I am a research person) For a Black + Decker coffee maker the body of the coffee maker feels cheaply made. The clock is almost impossible to read as other customers have mentioned. The pictures show a washable mesh coffee grounds basket filter and “in the box” section shows coffee maker and filter, there is NOT a washable mesh filter basket included. I have to use 4-6 paper filters every time I make coffee as if I use one paper filter the water collapses the paper filter and coffee grounds go into the coffee pot. I set up an account on Black + Decker website and sent an email concerning the missing coffee grounds washable mesh filter. Over several days of emails with pictures and documentation, customer service sent an email they could not help me as their manual does not show a washable mesh filter. I called this Am and the customer service representative said that she saw the Amazon listing but the manual does not show a washable mesh filter. If this is how they handle product issues I would hate to see if I had warranty issue. I will be sending this back and will be buying another coffee maker brand. As for the thermal carafe I don’t think it keeps the coffee very hot, in fact I would say like warm. Directions say to fill with hot water before brewing your coffee??? We have our programmed to be ready when we wake up in the morning. As far as poring the coffee out, there wasn’t any issues. I would suggest spend a little more money and buy another brand of coffee maker. We luv our morning coffee and certainly would like it hot and not full of coffee grounds! *** I have an update already and my review just went Live! We found a Ninja double brew coffee maker at a club price of $79 regular $129. We have made several pots of coffee and what a difference in flavor the coffee taste amazing ,there is such a difference in the quality of the coffee machine and a lot more accessories for about $10-$15 more!

This thing is an A+ for us. This is the same one that we have at out winter home and have had it for years. I makes great coffee and keeps it hot for hours. I am not sure if it is induction or what but there are no hot surfaces and if you turn it back on it heats the coffee in the thermos. The on thing I would change on it is make the display darker so you can read it. You need a magnifying glass to read am or pm. Still doesn't stop me from buying it again. My older one is a little noisier than the new one. I really have to listen to make sure it is brewing. I love the appearance and you can see the water level, holds a little over 6 cups of water. Looks exactly like my 15 year old one, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I've had this coffee maker now for about 3 weeks. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. I'm also not 100% sure if I would recommend it either. Here's why. PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW FOR IMPORTANT INFO. Before purchasing this, I read lots of the reviews, and watched all of the video reviews before I decided on this one. Because everyone seemed happy with theirs, I went ahead and bought it. It was pricier than others, but I always go by the old saying, "you get what you pay for". It shipped very quickly and arrived the next day. When I got mine, I went through the setup procedure and I was ready to enjoy my first pot of coffee. The first thing I noticed was the lid was very loose, and I knew it was supposed to "lock" into place. After all, that's how the coffee is supposed to stay hot, in the carafe, and not on a warming plate, right? Even the description states: • 4 LAYER VACUUM SEALED THERMAL CARAFE: keeps coffee hot for up to two hours with the 4-layer vacuum sealed thermal carafe. On mine, I quickly discovered that there was a plastic seal missing from the carafe lid, which supposedly makes the carafe air tight. I reached out to Black+Decker and they quickly sent me a replacement lid (thank you Black+Decker). Finally, after getting the new lid I would be able to enjoy nice hot coffee. And I did...sort of. After using it for a few weeks now, I've noticed that the first cup of coffee that comes out is piping hot. By the time I get my second cup (maybe 45 minutes later) the coffee is what I would describe as "very warm", not hot. By the time I get to my 3rd cup, (don't judge) the coffee in the carafe is just lukewarm, (hello Mr. Microwave). I think I expected it to remain closer to hot much longer. BUT, while writing this review, I noticed in the product description it says: • IMPORTANT PRO TIP: To help coffee stay at brewed temperature, warm the carafe by filling with hot tap water and then discarding before brewing. So, I tried that this morning, and, it did help somewhat to keep the coffee in the carafe hotter, longer. I'm going to keep doing this and experiment to get the best results. My feeling on this is that it's just an extra step in the morning I wouldn't have to do with a traditional coffee maker with a glass carafe. One thing I do like is that the carafe does stay cool to the touch on the outside and also the no-drip spout feature. What I used to like about my old coffee maker is being able to use the glass carafe to measure the water and pour it right into the reservoir. With this carafe, there's no way to do that so I have to use a measuring cup. This is a minor inconvenience though. One other feature I wish this coffee maker had is that the clock display does not illuminate when power button is pushed (see picture) or while brewing coffee. It seems like a very dim display. Bottom line, typically if I don't like something I buy, I return it. However, I'm not going to return this simply because I don't want to go through the hassle of packing it all up and returning it, and I still get my coffee every morning.

Love it! No burner and no fear of it shorting out and causing a fire because it was left on! Keeps 12 cups hot and we can choose to may as many cups as we need

Cumple con todo lo esperado. Tiene buena capacidad, prepara el café rápidamente, la temperatura es buena, la jarra mantiene el café caliente por el tiempo necesario, sólo calienta el agua al preparar y no quema el café. Se apaga apenas termina de preparar el café, por lo que no hay riesgo de sobré calentamiento. No tiene filtro, requiere filtros de papel.

Decepção. O plug é americano (tive que comprar adaptador). O filtro não vende no mercado brasileiro. A jarra não mantém o café aquecido por muito tempo, como prometido na propaganda. Paguei caro

El café sale bien caliente y delicioso, la jarra es térmica por lo que la base no calienta el café, aun así conserva la temperatura un poco mas de 2 horas.
