Fun way to introduce fractions
We loved this product, my kid and me were able to design our own games using these cards. My kid is in grade 2, and it was good way to introduce fractions to her. We having been playing it almost everyday since we received the item. Would love to see a slighyly modified version - which has basic - identifying the fractions and then next level to teach reduction of fractions. For reduction of fraction I needed more simpler cards, which I have made on my own, but it would be awesome if it comes as readymade product. Also, often as mother of a kid who has many toys to manage, I would love if there was a plastic case to store these cards, it helps in keeping this game safely for longer time.

Found the game confusing and not much instructions so we could not figure out what to do. I am sure with some time we will figure it out. I would definitely say at least grade 4 and up.

The game is good otherwise to learn fractions
This is ideally suited for kids of 8+ yrs. There are less pictures and more fractional numbers. So, it was tough for my kids who is 7+. I might have to wait for one more year to start using it with my kid. The game is good otherwise to learn fractions.I believe another similar game "monkey fractions" has lot more pictures and might be suited for 7+ years.

OK card game packaged with too much unnecessary stuff
This card game will be useful to use with several of my students that are struggling with fractions. The cards are sturdy and the graphics cheerful. I don't think it is the sort of game any kid would pull out to play at home with friends or family, but in an educational setting would be more popular than another worksheet! The directions are a bit vague. There are a couple of fraction cards that are star over star with no mention of these in the rules. Are they wild cards? Do they represent one whole? . . . Some sets seem to have four equivalent cards some have more. I often have to adapt games to meet the needs of my students so I can make it work. However, a bigger issue is that there is much more packaging here than need be. Like most classrooms, my space is at a premium. I took the set of cards and directions and placed them in a small card sized box to store with my other card games. The original box is quite a bit bigger than it needs to be. In addition I really don't need and see no use for the poster and even the small, cheap wipe off markers. The cardboard "logic slates" are not mentioned in the directions for the game. I assume they are to be used like scrap paper? Whatever their intended purpose, I could have done without. All in all, it is a good game to use with students working on fractions but is over-packaged and has too much that is going to end up being thrown away and recycled.

It is a cool game but the instructions are a little difficult to understand so we ended up making our own rules. I tutor kids around age 8 to 10 and this is a good way to keep fractions fresh in their minds.

Simple and boring
This was very, very simple. Not a lot of playability or longevity from this game.

Somewhat helpful, but...
It says it is for 8 and up, but will be boring for older kids. Still, if they are struggling with fractions, it will not seem too simple to them and they will learn. You can devise your own game variations, but rules for only one version are included.
