Some interesting personal stories here, but all in all this one just didn't keep my attention. A few of the locals telling their experiences seemed genuinely nutty yet managed to be boring storytellers.

Poignant and accurate
I am originally from Niagara Falls, NY and this episode of This American Life really gets to the essence of place. When I listen to these stories, I feel nostalgic for home.
