Great water bottle, better than the Brita
I got this as a replacement for my Brita filtered water bottle. Previously, I settled on the Brita due to Lifestraw not having an insulated bottle yet. My review would be mostly comparing these two.I like the design of the bottle. Both are nearly the same size, 34oz vs. 32oz (Brita). They are basically the same weight when full of water. I would expect it to be similar to other bottles tbh. The handle design though makes it feel like it's a bit lighter than the Brita though. Since you can use way more fingers to hold it comfortably.I prefer this bottles straw design. And it stays a lot cleaner and way easier to clean them the Brita. On the Brita the straw extends more, but cleaning it was a chore. Like I resorted to basically trying to clean it with a chopstick. Although, the Brita's advantage is opening the cap to get to the straw. Brita uses a push button with a spring hinge for the cap so it's super easy to open and close. The taste is better, most likely due to the 2 stage filter vs. 1 for the Brita (carbon only). The carbon filter is a lot smaller than the Brita though. Like 1/3 the size, so you'll end up replacing that a little more frequently. As far as the effort to suck the water. It's actually easier than with the Brita. It is hard in the beginning as usual, but like after 5 or so refills, it starts getting easier. It's like near effortless tbh compared to my Brita which barely got better. It wasn't hard on the Brita either, but it definitely takes more effort than the Lifestraw. All in all, this is a great water bottle. With Lifestraw famous filtration capabilities, you have more options on water source as well. I also bought the silicone bottom for the bottle which you can see in my picture. It's like a perfect match to the bottle color.

Great bottle
Very good bottle. Saves water cool. Does the job, but the large size is making the bottle very heavy. So if you are looking for a bottle that a kid can carry, go for the small size bottle. For man excellent size

Works great, keeps liquid cold, great 1L size, flow was nice. Love the color.

Horrible design
Whoever designed this water bottle either never used a water bottle themselves or had very large hands and neck like a girrafe. I have smallish hands and when I tried to take the lid off I could not get a grip on it. Most water bottles have a easy to grab lid or the handle of the water bottle is attached to the lid and gives you something to grip. I finally found a rubber strap on a mini fan of mine and used that to create a grip on the bottle.I did not have the water flow issue as some people have stated. I ran both the carbon part under water for 1-2 minutes And the other filter for 1-2 minutes. I kept them both seperated as I did the water run through on both. I was able to suck up the water pretty easily but yes there is a little resistance. This will happen as you are trying to get water through 2 filters before getting to your mouth. The taste didn't change much to me.The placement of the mouthpeice being in the middle of the bottle is bad design and makes it awkward to drink from. When you get near to being empty in the bottle you can't really empty the bottle as the filter doesn't have an opening on the bottom tip nor at the very top. Ice doesn't last too long in this bottle. I am used to my Ice lasting pretty much all day with my other waterbottles but with this one the ice maybe lasts 4-6 hours.Unfortunately this bottle has been an all around dud for me. I was looking forward to it and was disapointed.

Not what I thought it would be
I was hoping for a travel water bottle/filter that I could use to drink from, but also filter from to use for coffee, etc. You can only get filtered water by drinking from it. Can't pour from it.It is awkward and heavy (when the water is in it) and I find it difficult to hold because of its size. Its a good idea and supports good causes, but I don't really like it.

Pretty amazing
I was skeptical at first. Frankly the idea of trusting something to filter water wasn’t an easy thing to do. I use this when I travel and it’s literally the best thing ever.My test run was with the water fountain at the Las Vegas airport. Normally the water tastes awful. With the lifestraw it tasted clean. I was so shocked. It really works.I gave both the plastic and the insulated. I find the insulated one a bit heavy for travel.

Love the filter, but…
This is a heavy water bottle, and while it’s insulated, it doesn’t keep things cold as long as other bottles. That said, I love that it allows me to drink tap water and ice in any country. Great for helping the environment in places where trash and recycling services for plastic bottles are limited. Lots of people were jealous of how I could get water from anywhere on my trip to Morocco.I find it hard to open the top to refill sometimes. The drinking top is easy to remove. Wish there were some kind of raised gripping stripes or something to help in getting a good grip to twist it off. I ended up asking strangers to help me open it, and sometimes their hands would brush the drinking tip, which is not ideal.I ended up getting a carabiner and wrist strap to carry the bottle around, as the top is not ideal for comfortable carrying.

Filetage
Couleur décevante. Et filetage pas super . Il faut serrer à fond pour que ça soit étanche. Limite a le casser.Dommage

Dented, scratched and used
I purchased two bottles, the one bottle I received was used, dented and had scratches

Arrived WITHOUT the Lifestraw Filter, WET inside
I ordered this for an upcoming trip to Cuba. It arrived without the actual LifeStraw filter, and was WET inside. Completely useless and extremely disappointing. Strongly do not recommend as clearly this item was used and returned without the filter, then re-sold for full price. After doing a lot of research to purchase what I thought was a reputable brand and product... I strongly do not recommend.

Love the Concept but design has Drawbacks
I was so excited about this water bottle and tried very hard to love bc of all it is capable of, but sadly I ended up returning it bc it is just way too heavy to carry around with me. Taking a sip of water feels like lifting weights, which I was willing to work with, but when I realized that if the bottle gets less than a third full, the filtration straw doesn’t catch the water and you can’t drink it when you tip the bottle up so I was refilling it way too often. Just needs a better, lighter design. Looking forward to more from LifeStraw in the future bc I sure appreciate what you guys are doing in the world for clean water!

Could easily be better
I was really hopeful when I got this. I’m sure the filter works great which is why I got it but it does not keep the water cold and the twist cap is quite a nuisance. A flip top would be much more practical. As it is I just take the cap off all together but would appreciate something covering the mouth piece especially when I go out.
