This one said he wants to grow you rocket, ain't in his head now
I was very much encouraged to try to grow these seeds by my two little relatives (aged eight and four), whose parents are being slowly driven into the poorhouse thanks to the voracious and highly refined appetites of two gourmet guinea pigs. Their food generally comes in bags, with 'Finest' written upon them. Oddly enough, the family themselves make do with the odd iceberg. They're too afraid of those guinea pigs I shouldn't wonder.Anyway, being the heroic sort of figure that I am, I rushed to their aid by purchasing a packet of these seeds. With no particular gardening skills, I simply lobbed a few of them into various receptacles and then pretty much forgot about them. Some were in a PVC greenhouse while others were facing a somewhat more difficult start in life, chucked into a salad planter with a bit of water and a prayer. And it is those ones that have really started showing signs of life. Not enough to feed the cavy world's answer to Loyd Grossman, not yet anyway. But they are obviously tough little plants with a lust for life. And if I can grow them, anyone can.

Good germination rate, consistent growth after ten days.
I sowed fifteen seed modules with rocket in an unheated greenhouse, ridiculously early in the year (apparently the best sowing time is August but I sowed them on January 24th). Fourteen of those seed modules now have healthy looking green seedlings, ten days after sowing. The growth on all of the sprouted seeds is remarkably consistent.Edit some time later: I now have fifteen healthy rocket plants supplying me a bowl of salad once a week - one module sprouted two plants. The seedlings survived being frozen solid without harm when the weather suddenly turned really cold - my greenhouse is unheated. I transplanted them when the first true leaves started to show, and since then they have grown quickly and well. Despite the warm weather and increasing daylight, the plants have not bolted and show no signs of trying to do so. I have been harvesting from them for three weeks now. They've had a sprinkling of blood and bone but no other fertiliser. The plants are remarkably uniform in size and conformation, and the leaves taste wonderful - still wild-rocket-like but milder and less peppery, so that it makes a better bulk salad leaf rather than a pungent accent. I'd say anyone sowing these plants is going to end up with a good salad eight weeks later unless they don't water them or literally cook them to death. As a beginner salad, I couldn't better this.

Grew well - but a bitter, unpleasant taste
I was initially happy with these as they grew strongly, however after tasting some of the leaves it was nowhere near what I was expecting and I ended up pulling the whole lot up and binning the rest of the seeds. Another disappointment from the seller impatiens.

Rockets
Cool seeds, bought them for my mum, not sure she planted them yet she has quite a few seeds and well, weather is not so good for planting but hopefully, my mum can carry on planting in the next months^^

Fast, cheap, no nonsense
I saw some comments that you don't receive instructions with the seeds. I didn't, but it is easy enough to find these online and via the product description. Also received free bonus sunflower seeds which was a nice touch. Looking forward to seeing how they grow.

Hardy
These Rocket seeds are the best for cultivating over winter. If you have a sheltered spot with a bit of old glass or plastic for protection, sow them end of sept - mid oct and you'll be eating rocket in december and onwards.Great value for money.

Nice taste
This was the first seed I used on my raised bed. The seeds germinated quickly and the leaves tasted great. Peppery, but not too much. The only problem was that the snails in my garden also liked their taste and took a bite often enough.

Rocket Man
Quick delivery, planted and started growing really quickly. Now all about 2cm high. Hoping the slugs stay off and we'll have lovely rocket for supper. Great value - can't believe the prices of rocket in the supermarkets when its so easy to grow.
