TITAN GREAT OUTDOORS 30in Fireplace Grate, Heavy Duty 1.25in Thick Steel Rungs, Elevated Log Wood Chimney Grate, Burning Fireplace and Firepits

Wanted something that was gonna last a lifetime for our outdoor fireplace. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna have to list this thing in the will or put into the list of items in a trust. This things gonna be here for generations to come. Also, it weighs as much a high schooler. You better be strong to move this thing. It’s heavy. I love it and would 100% buy again if I needed another. Expect the box to be beaten to hell and for the delivery driver to curse your existence. I’m pretty sure I made his kill list because of this thing.

Very sturdy, should last for a long time, since it weigh over 100lbs. Only been using it a few months but no sign of wear at all. Expensive, but worth it

I have been through at least six fireplace grates for my large outdoor fireplace with a propane starter. They all failed after a season or two, after ordering the best ones available.Every now and then there is a product that is so far above the alternatives that it is in a completely separate class. That is the case with this grate. I have never seen one that remotely compares with it.It is made of heavy duty materials well constructed and exactly as advertised. I expect it to last a lifetime.This is not something you would want for an indoor light duty use, but for a serious fireplace there is nothing remotely comparable

This is a very well constructed fire grate, that will last a generation without any wear.

This grate will not burn out in a year

We have a see-through (2 sided) fireplace, and we always had issues with smoke getting into the house from one side or the other, which I understand is a common problem with this type of double sided fireplace design. I came across an idea based on other similar products which attempt to improve the draft up the chimney by concentrating the wood/fuel and heat more in the center by being narrower, forcing the wood to be stacked in a more vertical manner. I took the chance that this fireplace grate does this by design, and would therefor help solve my smoke-in-the-house issue. It totally worked! With the heat now more centered and less spread out than my old grate, we can now use our fireplace again without fear of getting a smoke-filled house. Highly recommended (even if you don't have this problem to solve).

I'm delighted with the grate. It is massive. It took two attempts to get it here. The first time they sent the wrong thing, also pretty massive, and FedEx destroyed the box. Amazon and Titan did their dance, I applied massive amounts of tape to the old box and the Fed Ex guy with the bad back showed up and took the old one away and a couple days later a new FedEx who could walk upright delivered the grate. I have a large outdoor fireplace and a standard grate looks silly. My children will be using this grate long after I'm gone.

First of all I am not the type of person who typically write a review. I bought this great about 2 months ago. I've had a fire every night except one. And have probably burnt a cord of seasoned firewood on top of this great. It shows absolutely no sign of distortion! If there is one disadvantage all this great it's that you have to clean the ashes from around it. It's much too heavy to move easily. I think it will last many many many years!
