**Q: Do sit and spins come in different sizes..looking for a 3 year old...will this be too small**
A: Not really, the difference is about an inch in diameter for the musical lights sit and spin.  These are absolutely perfect for 3 year olds

A: Only the base that the child sits on should spin. Set it on the floor and try to move the seat part with your finger. If it doesn't move, it's either defective, or you put it together wrong.

A: THIS SIT AND SPIN IS PRETTY SMALL AND DANGEROUS.  MY 18 MO. GREAT GRANDSON KEEP FALLING OFF AND HURT HIMSELF.  THE 2 SIT AND SPIN IS FOR INSIDE OR OUTSIDE AND CAN BE USED WITH WATER.
IT IS LARGER AND MY GRANDSON HAS LOTS OF FUN ON IT.
