## Description

The Wheeler Engineering Professional Laser Bore Sighter uses a high power red laser and a high-strength magnetic connection to the barrel to deliver fast accurate bore sighting. This system works with virtually all firearms; rifles, shotguns and handguns. The magnetic connection to the end of the muzzle provides more precise alignment with the bore without the risk of damaging the bore, compared to an arbor style bore device. A machined aluminum body with soft rubber over-molding houses the laser module. Each unit is hand tuned during the manufacturing process with an innovative calibration mechanism. This allows for maximum precision, thus ensuring the best bore/optic alignment possible. Once precision calibration is completed the laser module is permanently secured in place insuring reliable performance and durability.

**Q: at what distance can you see the green kaser**
A: The green laser is quite bright when and if it works properly. Mine had a short in the switch so its brightness was inconsistent. Still even in bright daylight it was not visible as far as I'd expected. 25 yards or so, more if aimed into a shaded area. Regardless mine had a faulty switch and the laser was not perfect centered in the unit, thus making my sighting in less accurate than expected. The rifle I tried this with was barely on paper at 50 yards. You are better off getting the Bushnell Prodessional Boresighter. I have it now and each time I've used it I was zeroed in less than 10 shots. It's worth the money way more so than the laser type. I tried other laser ones as well all had misaligned lasers that produced poor results.

**Q: The acc. of this bore sighter seems to be dependent on a perfectly perpendicular end of the barrel which does not affect how true the bullet flies?**
A: The accuracy is dependent on the accuracy of the milling of the rifle. Most rifles should be milled with close enough tolerances to make the bore sighter effective to get in the general vicinity of where the bullet is going to hit.

**Q: will this boresighter work on a thompsoncenter 50 cal. stainless muzzleloader ?**
A: Yes, I have used it on a stainless steel Thompson muzzleloader.  The magnet sticks but you will be lucky to be on paper at 100 yards.  I’ve used this on Weatherby Mark Vs and found the barrel to not be square at that range.  20-25 yards max and even at that range, an 18” target is nice to have for the 1st shot.

**Q: Has anyone compared this to the sitelite mag laser boresighter sold on amazon for $99.95?**
A: First, don't get a red laser.  You can't see it very well in sunlight past about 10 yards.  Secondly, the Sitelite requires various adapters to fit in various bore sizes; a big hassel. The Wheeler fits on every bore using a strong magnet with no modification required.  The Wheeler has a better battery system. A green laser Wheeler can be used to scare geese and other birds out of your yard without shooting them.  Just point the laser at their feet and they will take off.
