iAutomobil OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner: Car Diagnostic Tool

Good price for what you get, lots of cheap nasty ones about that aren't good. Connected up to my '98 Saab 9000 with no issues and was able to connect to Torque on Android with ease. Only negative I could say is it doesn't appear to automatically turn off if you leave it plugged in, I had one quite a few years ago that would switch itself off after the engine RPM dropped to 0 (indicating the car is off and therefore shutting itself off), this means you have to remember to unplug it but for the price its a minor issue.

The iAutomobil consistently scored within the top 3 of every OBD-II dongle review I could find, so I figured it'd be a good choice over all the other cheap junk - I'm delighted to say, it was a good choice!There are so many OBD dongles around with most being cheap junk, while the iAutomobil has a strong reputation for build quality, robustness and function.There are two versions - A bluetooth and a Wifi, though it seems many buyers are unaware - So be sure to get whichever one you prefer and actually connect as such. Read the manual. It's only a couple of pages, so why not?Software included was not needed as I'd already gotten Torque Pro, which works flawlessly.Obviously this won't replace dedicated software like VCDS, but for a quick portable device, code reader and some fun performance measures to play around with, this does everything it's supposed to.ShopperSmart are very keen on earning their customer service scores, so will keep you updated on yoru order progress, send you emails to check how you're getting on with it and remind you about their warranty, etc.

Well made product, works well on my mercedes C class (W203) using the torque app on my Samsung Galaxy 5, I leave it plugged in the OBD socket and link to it when required. Would highly recommend.

I bought the Bluetooth iAutomobil OBDII diagnostic interface. I installed 4 different applications on my iPhone, none of which seem to work. The company does not specify which software/application is compatible with the device. This information is vague. Manual doesn't help.When I connect the device to my cars OBDII port, I can see the power light is on, but I cannot discover the device when searching in bluetooth on my iPhone. I have tried to use this with 4 different applications, in 2 different iPhones and in 2 different cars, a mk6 golf and a i10 hyundai.I have rated this as 1 star because it does not work. If someone can provide any guidance as to with specific software works, or any help to get my device to work then I will change my rating.
